- Reviewing of framework agreements for all the broadcast and IT equipment acquisitions and ongoing support agreements;
- Drafting and reviewing of employment and non-disclosure agreements;
- Preparation of meetings and minute-taking;
- Administrative tasks such as :
o review of shareholder and director resolutions;
o translation of documents (from French/Arabic to English mainly);
- Setting-up a newsgathering bureau network throughout the MENA region
- Follow-up on project implementation: disbursements, reporting, meetings with relevant implementing agency, review of tender documents and bids evaluation reports
- Identification of new projects
- Participation in the institutional and organizational reform process for the water sector led by the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA), through the implementation of a Technical Planning and Advisory Team (TPAT) within PWA.
- Drafting of contracts
- Coordination with stakeholders and partners, preparation of meetings and minutes
- Contribution to the Palestinian Authority’s Water and Sanitation Sector Strategy Fiche
- Brainstorming on AFD’s three year (2011-2013) strategy of intervention in Palestine
- Research on water related aspects (mainly joint management water resources)
- Case-studies of shared water resources
- Research on international laws and their enforceability in water-related conflict situations
- Participation in the Fifth World Water Forum (Istanbul, Turkey-March 2008).
