Responsible for all aspects of corporate and operational security, across three large scale manufacturing sites in the UK and at satellite offices overseas. Subject matter expert for corporate and UK/US government military security issues. Act as Security Controller for defence contract work and oversee the government security clearance (vetting) process. Responsible for management of a large security team, including guarding personnel, vetting officer, IT security officer and export compliance officer. Oversee security compliance procedures at a number of subcontracting companies and liaise on a routine basis with security professionals in the UK MOD, US DOD and leading UK defence contractors in respect of security compliance issues. Liaise with UK police in respect of CT issues.

Individual venues were “host” to numerous international sporting events and the outdoor leisure parkland was extensively used by members of the general public. Responsible for management of a large security and safety team, including guarding personnel, H&S professionals, event marshals and administrative staff. Successfully project managed all security implications surrounding the hosting of the 15th Asian Olympic Games in December 2006, a world class sporting event, which attracted international attendance.
