In this course I have drafted new legislation regarding domestic workers in Qatar, and drafted model employment contracts which were displayed in the University of Kuwait.
During the externship I have drafted some articles regarding Family Offices which are entitled to provide legal advices to family enterprises in Qatar. In addition, I have written case briefs about protection given to trade marks in Qatar based on the Qatari Trade Mark Law No. 9/2002, and I have sorted limitation periods indicated in the Qatari Criminal Procedures Law No.23/2004 and in the Qatari Civil and Commercial Procedures Law No.13/1990. Moreover, I have participated in a workshop about how to conduct business in Qatar by giving an idea about laws governing trade transactions and companies. Furthermore, I have analyzed the new draft of the Qatari Company Law and how will affect the claimant investment in the state of Qatar.
Participated in first energy and evironmental policy seminar and tour to Japan sponsored by the Center for Energy, Environmental and Sustainability Law and Policy at Qatar University, Tokyo, Japan, from April 25, 2013 to April 29, 2013
In this trip, I have visited the College of Law at Tokyo University and Chiba University. I attended a seminar about the legal framework of environmental sustainable development in Japan and a seminar about gas transportation between Japan and Qatar. In addition, I visited Qatar's friendship project in Sendai, which was affected by the 2011 tsunami.
I have participated in several courses regarding legal writing and legal research in both English and Arabic language. I have drafted many legal documents such as contracts and memorandums in relation to many legal systems such as the American legal system and the Qatari legal system followed by courts in Qatar. In addition, I have developed my legal research skills my using special legal research engines.
Furthermore, I have attended many writing labs for drafting civil contracts, employment contracts and court's decisions.
