• Led the control systems commissioning activities which include: (2011-2013)
- Review and approve the DCS design documents and compliance with Qafco Safety and Automation System (SAS) which is inherited from ISA standards.
- Responsible of review and approve the ESD design documents and compliance with Qafco Safety and Automation System (SAS).
- Design the overall networking of the various control systems to meet the cyber security requirements under the guidance of ISA99.
- Follow up the construction activities, mechanical completion, loop check, commissioning, punch points and assuring the work flow to meet the overall commissioning schedule.
- Pre-start up and startup preparation, regular reporting and documenting for all existing issues and failures within the proper project forms in order to have a traceable record, History and knowledge sharing.
- Follow up the execution of remaining works, clearing the defects and punch points after startup.

The above activities were carried out for the following systems:
 Honeywell Experion DCS system/C300 controllers and Honeywell Safety Manager ESD
 Triconex ITCC ( Integrated Turbine and Compressor Control), Anti-surge and BMS systems
 Siemens PDCS including Power Generation Control and Load Shedding Control systems.
 Advanced solutions such as APC, AMS, OTS and PHDs.
 Ethernet and fiber optic site wide network infrastructure.

• Lead the system group maintenance team in Qafco 5 site (2014-current).
- Carrying out maintenance daily activities, technical adjustments and new small scale projects.
- Develop and manage Long Term Service Agreement with system vendors.
- Troubleshoot and analyze failures using Root Cause Analysis methodology (Certified as Apollo RSA team leader).
- Identify the training needs assuring the continuous group improvement and competency.
- Updating the long term plans for systems upgrading and revamping considering the products life cycles.
- Spares management and group budget planning.
