Duties and responsibilities:
o Responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day operations at Wardieh’s terminal, covering the
whole cycle of supply, storage and deliveries of Petroleum Bulk products.
o Manage all the maintenance activities at Wardieh’s retail gas service stations network (160+).
o Manage all the projects and renovation activities at the retail gas service stations.
o Manage turnkey projects for Wardieh’s new gas service stations.
o Supervise the aviation fuel quality control and operations at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.
o Responsible for the overall plant’s equipment reliability and efficient runnability.
o Responsible for the planning of the short and long term overall maintenance work of the plant.
o Ensure the smooth and safe flow of maintenance spare parts and consumables throughout the direct management of the Stores section.
o Manage the financial aspects of the Maintenance department.
o Manage the administrative issues of the Maintenance crew (up to 70 personnel)
o Develop and implement training programs
o Designed and managed the mechanical erection and commissioning of two huge lines of tissue making machines and winders, along with their relative utilities:
Pumping systems
Steam systems
Compressed air systems
Hydraulic systems
Lube systems
Air ducting
Vacuum systems
Effluent plant
o Implemented new procedures and forms to manage and guide the extensive amount of erection and commissioning work.
o Recruited Egyptian qualified mechanical engineers and technicians and developed a well trained skillful mechanical department capable of handling the efficient mechanical maintenance of the mill.
o Responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles (forklifts, cranes)
