• Ensuring that the works are carried out as per project specification, approved construction drawing and method statement and conforming that the works are properly inspected at the required stages as stated in ITP.
• Issuing and administering non conformance, corrective action reports as necessary and ensuring follow up.
• Ensuring all work is correctly prepared prior to inspection being under taken.
• Ensuring the verification of documentation and certificates for material purchased. Inspects, fills in, and signs company's and client checklists.
• Checking and ensuring that required tests are performed and verifying its compliance against requirements.
• Coordinating with the execution team, project management, client and contractor to resolve QC related problems, if any.
• Obtaining and verifying the quality records and maintain it in a traceable, easily retrievable and safe manner and maintaining proper log for the records.
• Reporting quality related matters to Project Manager for taking necessary action.
• Ensure that all relevant codes and specifications are applied at project.
• Control and monitoring inspection and test requirements and data with respect to project specification.
• Coordinating with the Independent Testing Laboratory for material testing, follow-up for test reports and submits to the consultant.
• Preparing daily /weekly quality report and submit to the project manager.
• Ensure that materials received on site are inspected with proper documentation, completeness and condition to ensure the compliance with the specifications.
• Supervising civil structural and finishing works like layout, excavation, backfilling, formwork, reinforcement concrete, block work, plastering, precast panels, painting, gypsum, flooring, doors, suspended ceiling, plasterboard, water proofing sanitary accessories, paving, stone cladding and façade works.
• Participate in field tests, such as soil compaction, concrete slump, compression test, moisture content, and concrete coring, etc.
• Ensures that all the works are accordance to approved construction drawings, contract documents and project specifications.
• Ensure the latest drawing revisions are being used at site to avoid NCR.
• Ensure the smooth progress and completion of projects within cost, time, and quality standards.
• Coordinates with Consultant’s for any site instructions and inspection of works.
• Confer the different site matters with Consultants and taking approvals.
• Coordination with sub contractors and supplier for the smooth flow of work.
• Participate in quality control, site safety, & progress meetings.
• Provide daily, weekly, monthly, reports & look ahead program to consultants.
• Coordinating with other department engineers for daily site function.
• Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out expediently.
• Generate client Requests for Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for Hold, Witness and Inspection points.
• Carry out inspections on Exception Items (EI) as documented in the QEIL and sign off a closed when activity is complete.
• Continually carry out surveillance inspections on the project recording and documenting any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project ensuring the equipment is within calibration prior to use.
• Provide support and advice to the construction personnel in relation to the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System.
• Maintain good record keeping of activities carried out and inspection reports, surveillance reports, etc.
• Inspection of civil structural and finishing works like layout, excavation, backfilling, formwork, reinforcement concrete, masonry work, plastering work, water proofing, precast panels, painting, gypsum, flooring, doors suspended ceiling, plasterboard, sanitary accessories, paving, stone cladding, and aluminum works.
• Ensures that all the works are accordance to approved construction drawings, contract documents and project specifications.
• Ensure the smooth progress and completion of projects within cost, time, and quality standards.
• Coordination with sub contractors and supplier for the smooth flow of work.
• Participate in quality control, site safety, & progress meetings.
• Prepares drawings like detail drawings, as built drawings through AUTO CAD on the basis of the information and instruction provided.
• Makes necessary calculations for drawing development.
• Preparing of all kind of drawings using Auto Cad software.
• Transform AUTOCAD drawings into 3D drawings (If required).
