Manage the overall Sustainability and Environmental compliance and commitments for ECS Stadium and two International Schools which are within the precinct.
Provide simple and cost-effective solutions to projects on the environmental aspects and impacts. Oversee the implementation of sustainable environmental strategies, requirements and controls, in the construction management.
Responsible for CEMP development, approval and implementation for ECS construction. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly environmental reports to Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy through ASTAD. Undertake daily site inspections of mitigation measures to protect the project’s sensitive receptors from the effects of construction activities.
Manage environmental monitoring and data analysis. Manage spill response/remediation activities and lead investigations into environmental near misses/incidents. Provide sustainability/environmental awareness trainings to workers and management staff.
Coordinate with MME, Civil Defense, ASHGHAL and other regulating agencies to secure applicable permits. Conduct technical investigations for light and visual pollution, indoor/outdoor air quality management, dewatering, pest controls, habitat preservations, etc.
Attend management progress meetings with the client and consultants. Coordinate the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) certification process.
Provided guidance and support in the application and monitoring of the project CEMP. Conducted Environmental Surveys and Risk Assessments. Assisted management in identifying environmental requirements set out in the contract documentation.
Prepared the environmental and sustainability monthly statistics reports. Attended Biweekly progress meetings with the client and consultants. Managed effectively the entire environmental officers and helpers. Assisted management in the implementation of the Environmental Protection Law No. 30 of 2002. Designed and prepared educational aids and training materials.
