1. As a Media Gate Way Engineer. Monitoring Media gateway Hardware alarm, lodging complaints, fault management, co-ordination with Other NOC engineers like Switch engineer, media provider. Checking IP reach-ability, packet drop etc.
2. Checking Block circuits and rectifying those.
3. Generating system generated reports, making manual reports.
i.e. - MOU, KPI, POI UP TIME REPORT, FAULT REPORT etc and analysis them.
4. Working under time line. Mailing, calling managers, customers.
5. Checking loop break test.
6. Coordination with other telecom operators NOC team for any related traffic media issued with shared STM link or E1’s.
7. Weekly Back UP taken of Mohali MGW.
8. Physical Patching of Optical and Electrical E1's.
• Alarm Monitoring and Analysis of all Critical types of alarms in Network.
• Analysis of alarm & resolving it by taking follow up from concern Team.
• Coordinating with the Switch Team and the Configuration Team.
• Generating various Performance Management Reports on daily basis for Different Circles.
• ILD (International Long Distance) Performance Reports
generation.
