• Handling specialized equipment in glass furnace .
• Operates batch house equipment such as Zippe DCS panels, hoppers and bins, weighing scales, conveyors, magnetic separators, furnace silos,
• Monitors Cullet bins and cullet yards, cullet transferring conveyor, material loading scales and hopper and including batch chargers.
• Control and operates Zippe Air pollution control equipment. Ensuring that it is in good working condition which provides clean air releases, ensuring not harmful to the environment.
• Control and checks, tin bath equipment such as top rollers, liquefied tin levels and each temperature condition. Also controls annealing lehr as needed.
• Monitoring, coordination and control of all of the activities in his shift covering batch house to shipping sections, to attain high production yield and safe working condition.
• Prepare reports and recommendations regarding the glass production yield and safety inspection within the shift.
- Conducts daily meeting with all operators for ideal controlling of each and every section for stable and safe operation.
• Conducts assessments and inspection of all equipment and prepare recommendations for improvements as safety and productivity are concern.
• Conducts Safety Inspections and monthly safety audi, Risk assessment, 5S implementation and manpower orientation regarding proper PPE’s in the working area.
• Conduct ISO documentation and training.
• Conducts Training about study team, a team that work outs problems in each section concern..
• Performs monthly inventory in production floor.
• Involved in three times construction of the manufacturing plant.
• Conduct furnace inspection and pictorial including activity plans for the repair and scheduling of manpower.
• Control and operate specialized equipment in the End fire regenerative type furnace such as heaters or boilers, shut off valves, brick cutter, optical pyrometer, drills, and lathes that are used in the in furnace operation.
• Handles and, monitors and control furnace temperature, batch house equipment such as zippe equipment that use in weighing and batching raw materials with the use of DCS.
• Operate and control Air Pollution Control equipment such to ensure that the combustion operation do not give pollution to the environment.
• Operates cutting machine, overhead cranes, power load lift and fork lift.
• Conduct glass handling, glass frosting, sandblasting and monthly inventory of production.
• Prepares report needed in the job using Microsoft office applications.
