Description: FIT (Fidelity Institutional Technology) provides a wide range of brokerage technology
solutions for FI technology and business partners. FIT team provides technology services in
the area of development, maintenance, quality assurance and production support of
mission critical brokerage applications. The FIT platform support is used by 300+
correspondent banks, 5000+ investment advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+
hedge funds and is capable of handling over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300
million shares. The FIT India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.
Role: Lead Software Engineering
• Batch processing support of 25k control-m jobs for Key products like Fid.com, Stock Plan services, Mutual Fund Library etc.
• Triaging incidents with emphasis on arriving at accurate root cause analysis and impact analysis.
• Informatica workload analysis (ETL/ELT Data processing), performance monitoring, problem analysis & resolution for highly critical SLA bounded applications/reports.
• Troubleshoot the problems related to batch jobs (control-m jobs 25k) for the various customer specific applications on Windows environment and UNIX platform and make sure batch process complete with in the SLA.
• Taken care of control-m auto installs for regular modification/creation of Jobs.
• Deploy regular application builds in Production and Test Environments.
• Communications with business units for maintenance, scheduled outages or outage situations.
• Worked with stake holders, business partners and all other associated teams to mitigate/resolve the incidents, based on Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Global Severity Matrix.
• Escalation & Notification to the relevant teams & stakeholders to ensure SLA compliance & minimal impact to end customers.
