Division Head Leads, directs and manages  Corporate Banking Business in the Region by assisting in strategy formulation for the regional set of clients, achievement of targets from the targeted client list, ensures cross selling of the entire suite of services offered across the bank entities, ensures a healthy portfolio and highest quality services to the customers, The jobholder also develops know how of team of Relationship Managers and Team Leaders and ensures the Relationship Management team maintain close contact with the Global Banking Network.
The jobholder frequently interacts with the Credit team to seek credit approvals and provide feedback on credit policies. The jobholder interacts with the Credit operations function to ensure all credit processes are running smoothly and issues are resolved quickly. He/she liaises with Treasury, PCM and Trade Services for business development opportunities where these functions can provide their services and solutions. The jobholder also needs to maintain frequent contact with the group to manage global relationships and support the servicing of Saudi Arabia based clients in other geographies.
The jobholder must actively promote the Group’s initiative to “Join-Up” the Organization, by ensuring that all Team Leaders understand the Bank’s structure, and actively involve colleagues  when appropriate. He/She must also ensure that all Team Leaders reporting to him understand the Group structure, especially in respect to the CIBM business, and that they maintain contact, as appropriate, with GRMs for CIB clients managed by their teams.
Externally, the jobholder is a key representative of the CORPORATE function for clients and is instrumental in overseeing critical/large client relationships to achieve the target share of wallet and enhance the bank reputation in the market place.
The jobholder is bound by the procedures and guidelines laid down in the bank, Group Standards Manual, Area Lending Guidelines and the instructions and regulations issued by SAMA and relevant government regulations. Business targets are specified principally by the Strategic and Area Operating Plans, and in Balanced Score Cards.
 
The jobholder has substantial autonomy in running his team and in monitoring and tracking his team’s activities to ensure compliance to standard policies and procedures. The jobholder is expected to exercise strong leadership, and also to provide mentoring and coaching to the Team Leaders under his control.

Middle Market Team Leader Western Region at The Saudi British Bank - SABB

The Middle Market Segment is under Commercial Banking in SABB. The responsibilities are almost the same as Business Banking however on higher level. The clients segment turnover fall between SAR200M up to SAR 700M. Managing asset portfolio over SAR 2 B. Different sectors are targeted under this segment which includes Contracting, Food, Medical. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and Services. The work responsibilities cover the whole western region under the Team Leader responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Support the growth of sustainable revenues either from existing customer portfolio or through targeted acquisition of new high-quality clients.
▪ Ensure proactive and strong relationship building to achieve revenue growth.
▪ Structure credit facilities to ensure optimum balance between risk management, pricing and return on RWA. Empowering Kafalah Program Cover for the facilities.
▪ Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of business efforts.
▪ Direct and coordinate activities involving relevant trade and other products, services, commodities, real estate or other subjects of business.
▪ Review operational records and reports to project business Improvement and determine profitability.
▪ Advise Senior RMs, RMs and CSOs on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
▪ Represent SABB at trade association meetings.
▪ Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop product and service programs.
▪ Confer with potential customers regarding needs and advise customers on types of facilities / services to apply for.
