Harmonization of all currently existing database systems in use by UNAMID Police Units on similar software format to enable sharing of information between these databases;
Creation and maintenance of databases for all UNAMID Police Units at the request of the Police Commissioner, Deputies or Coordinators; Development of a master database for the UNAMID Police incorporating as much as possible all information on UNAMID Police activities and operations including but not limited to reform and restructuring, training and planning, etc. Serving as a Data Collation Centre. To collate, process and disseminate results of various activities of UNAMID Police Units in quantifiable data form; Making information available on regular basis to the DPKO, relevant UNAMID bodies and NGOs, members of the UNAMID Police leadership team, and other persons (on need to know basis) of all on-going UNAMID Police activities; Development and incorporation into the LNP system of databases on Traffic and Crime Management, Personnel issues, Logistics acquisition and tracking etc. Training of GM Police officers in database development and management; Liaison with UNAMID CITS on networking and other technical issues to ensure database information are readily available on the LAN and WAN.

Managing Lotus Notes Database objects and user level Access, Managing daily database activities and operations including replication, Designing and managing system operations including back operations for sensitive training material, Maintaining and reconciling existing Microsoft Access databases, Installing and configuring Windows operating system, Lotus Notes clients and Microsoft Office for new and existing workstations, Designing and implementing training tracks to suit novice and expert trainees to educate peace keepers on computer skills, system security awareness, report writing, the use of UN systems and Lotus notes clients.

Participated as a member of the selection assistance team (SAT) in testing of potential monitors, in Malaysia and Indonesia, in English language proficiency and driving and shooting skills in contributing countries to UNMIBH, UNMIK and UNTAET.
