• Planning and implementing marketing strategies through searching for and approaching large projects/companies in promising sectors as well as key market players.
• Work as a team leader on transactions, contributing to all aspects of project structuring and execution, including working with client counterparts, consultants and other parties to progress the project.
• Maintain relationship with international entities that offer long term finance, e.g. IFC, Export Credit and Guarantee agencies. etc.
• Review the feasibility studies pertaining to projects in order to determine the project optimal capital structure.
• Draft term sheets tailored to the clients financing needs pertaining to syndicated facilities (medium term and long term facilities), Brown/Green Field Projects, Feed In Tariff “FIT” Projects and Public Private Partnership “PPP” Projects.
• Negotiate the proposed facilities terms & conditions with the clients.
• Analyze companies/projects from a financial, operational, competitive and industry perspective.
• Design integrated financial models to forecast future growth and free cash flows for the companies/projects, in order assess the companies/project ability to service its debt obligations.
• Conducting valuation using different valuation methods including Discounted Cash Flows (whether FCFF or FCFE) & Company’s Multiples.
• Conducting credit assessments/appraisals pertaining to companies/projects including detailed financial statements analysis, industry & market research, project description/company information.
• Ensure all proposals are in line with the banks credit policy and Central Bank of Egypt regulations.
• Prepare Investor’s Presentations & Information Memorandums under Equity Transactions (Sell Side & Buy Side Advisory Services), Syndicated Debt transactions, Corporate Bond transactions and Securitized Bonds.
• Monitoring of all projects, including compliance with project agreements and bank procedures related to disbursement; monitoring of progress of the project implementation and financial performance of the client; assessing evolving risk factors and monitoring and assessing covenant compliance.
• Interact with management and board committees relative to overall credit risk assessments and analysis.
• Handle the overall due diligence process through assigning and managing Technical Consultants, Independent Financial Advisor, Appraiser/Valuators and Legal Consultants.
