Import and Custom Clearance:
1- Execute all operations which related to Import Procedures.
2- Receiving shipping documents & complete required procedures related with banks & governments departments...etc.
3- Following-up critical shipments with shipping lines & air lines.
4- Starting & following-up customs procedures with freight forwarders.
5- Review the shipments clearing procedures cost to make sure that all charges have been accounted according to the agreements.
6- Following-up with Customs Brokers to ensure smooth clearance for all incoming shipments.
7- Plan logistics process according to the factory needs.
Duty Drawback & Temporary Release & Subsidy:
1- Prepare required documents for drawback & Temporary release settlement (ICA Ratios, Form 13, Consumption).
2- Coordinating with customs department, drawback department & Industrial controlling authority (ICA).
3- Letters of guarantee settlement.
4- Create annual company profile for the subsidy authority.
5- Prepare and follow up subsidy files.
- Administer all credit letters and process same to ensure smooth transactions for all overseas goods and maintain accuracy of all financial information.
- Maintain knowledge on all rules and regulations of import processes and ensure efficient transmission of all import goods and prepare and complete all purchase orders and ensure accuracy of all files and maintain records for same on account payable system and track all products.
- Documents and process all orders and ensure compliance to all custom laws and regulations and work according to SOP and analyze all supplier performance and manage communication with suppliers and maintain high standards of all service delivery.
- Develop and ensure implementation of all import policies and recommend changes to all service providers if required and monitor all transitions between suppliers.
- Maintain regular communication with sourcing and engineering team and prepare and update tariff classification process for all import goods.
- Design all standard operating procedures for all import processes according to company policies and administer each shipment to avoid any delays.
- Evaluate various documents and commercial invoices and ensure compliance to all regulations and prepare documents for all shipment and obtain required approval.
Examines and appraises merchandise and accompanying documentation according to import requirements, considering legal restrictions, country of origin, import quotas, and current market values. Requests laboratory testing and analyses of merchandise as needed. Determines duty and taxes to be paid on imported merchandise, considering its classification and value. Interviews importers and examines their records to verify integrity of invoices. .
