Administrator
Responsible for the payroll processing/ pension fund administration/attendance register and personal data of all the staff (local & expatriates).
• Maintains payroll information by collecting/ calculating/entering data on a fully tailor made software.
• Updates payroll records such as: Leavers or new joiners information/Salary changes/ increment/bonuses/exemptions/deductions/allowances
• Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions/leaves/disability/and non-taxable wages.
• Determines payroll liabilities by calculating staff federal and state income taxes and social security.
• Arranges for payroll transfer both by making use of normal transfer by letters and internet banking.
• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
• Responsible for the monthly return payments to the appropriate governmental bodies in relation of taxes and contribution.
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
• Managing pension and medical insurance scheme for the staff.
• Helping expatriates in obtaining and/or renewal of work permits from the government.
• Maintains staff confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
• Preparing account/bank reconciliation and liaise with the Finance department.
• Liaises with the Ministry of Labour regarding changes in labours laws.
• Liaises with tax revenue authority and social security body for changes in income tax act and changes in social security contribution.
• Provides Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a database of CVs on a quarterly basis for recruitment of potential candidates.
• Undertakes benchmarking research for salary reviews/increments and bonuses.
• Preparing employment contracts/Exit interview for new joiners/leavers.
