Lead the corporate communications activities of DAMAC Properties and DAMAC Hotels & Resorts aligned to business objectives
Plan and execute communications activities to raise the profile of senior leadership including opinion articles and interviews in regional and international media
Speech writing for leadership for external and internal events
Plan and execute media related activities including press releases, features and interviews
Analyse industry research and utilise effectively to develop stories to communicate messages of the company
Support Investor Relations by planning and drafting announcements and other communications to fulfil regulatory requirements in addition to investor related events
Plan media related events, photoshoots and other activities to support PR activities
Manage external communications campaigns, activities encompassing news releases/ interviews to enhance brand awareness in addition to internal communication initiatives by developing newsletters, collaterals for internal use as well as internal events to raise profile of key executives internally
Work with various internal stakeholders to align the communications and key messages across the organisation.
Provide counsel on various communications issues and situations and prepare holding statements and strategy for crisis communications.
Leads the Corporate Communications function at the bank and provides communications counsel and activities to support UAB Corporate as well as the bank’s business units - Retail, Corporate, Islamic and SME Banking, in addition to providing counsel.
Develops and implements strategic corporate communications plans for the Corporate Communications department to support UAB’s objectives and position the bank amongst its stakeholders including customers, shareholders, media and staff.
Work closely with key stakeholders and senior executives to raise profile externally and ensure visibility, externally and internally.
Develops and manages the Department’s budget.
Enhances brand image through bank-wide media activities, events and sponsorships.

Develops and implements strategic corporate communications and marketing communications plans for the Corporate Communications & Media Department to support GSSG’s business objectives, facilitate the achievement of GSSG’s vision and achieve positive positioning amongst external stakeholders.

Assessing sponsorship and speaking opportunities for senior executives and negotiating terms on behalf of SHUAA Capital
Planning of internal communications initiatives including a new intranet portal.
- Management of relationships with creative and Media agencies/ partners.
- Negotiation of media rates with media agencies / suppliers and set media guidelines.
- Providing support to all SHUAA Capital business units.
- Recommending strategy and execution for events and sponsorships
Corporate Communications:
Developing appropriate communications to announce and support the company’s business activities within Dubai International Capital, its funds and its portfolio companies
Handling media relations, media inquiries and assessing and making recommendations for media interview requests for CEO and other spokespersons on regional and international level
Handling and making recommendations for communications exercises to maintain company reputation and leverage brand equity including corporate reputation audits and online search engine optimisation
Preparing necessary background materials for media interviews and announcements including key messages, Q&A documents and briefing documents
Establishing and maintaining relationships with key media in international and regional press including newswires and print media
Involved in preparing and disseminating any necessary materials for crisis communications and speculative markets rumours and proactively preparing holding statements to special circumstances
Liaison with corporate communications teams of portfolio/target companies and partners to coordinate joint media programmes successfully
Marketing:
Assessing sponsorship and speaking opportunities for senior executives

Organising corporate events and conferences for company stakeholders and managing the development of collateral materials associated with such events
