Responsible for the procurement of all the materials for the Infrastructure Constructions projects for KNPC CFP MAB2 Project - Technical and Laboratory Buildings, KIPIC - Al Zour NRP K001 Project 2077 - Administration, CCR/OTS, Lab. Café. Fire Station, Training Center, Mosque and Admin & Employee Parking Buildings) & Power Projects (Az Zour and Sabiya Open Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plants, Maintenance of RO Desalination Plants) and contracts, checking the compliance of the client’s (KNPC, KIPIC, MPW & MEW) parameters and technical specification of construction materials, steel profiles, construction chemicals like grouts and epoxy, lab equipments, laboratory tools, mechanical, electrical and instrumental measuring instruments for commissioning, commissioning tools, LOTO devices, Spare parts for the heavy upstream equipments, Mechanical Piping and fittings, Consumable Materials, Fire Fighting, HVAC, Fasteners etc. Reporting directly to Project Manager.
Responsible for the procurement of all the permanent materials for the project and contracts, checking the compliance of the client’s (MPW) parameters and technical specification of steel casing, gas pipe lines, sewage and fresh water lines, HT / LT Cable lines and laying, storm water / sanitary lines, box culverts / galleries / troughs, utilities, pump stations, Segment bridges, setting up of precast yard, heavy equipment like gantry cranes, EOT cranes, mobile cranes, truck, compactors, segment hauling, Posttension materials including PT strands, bearing pads, movement joints, formwork for piers / diaphragms, reinforcement steel, different grades of concrete, detour, hard site clearance, repair chemicals, backfilling aggregates and grouts, fabrication jobs, labor contracts, checking the contracts, and tender specifications for timely submissions for approval for the materials to be installed on site. Logistic coordination for the timely delivery as per the project schedules. Checking, monitoring, instructing and coordinating the job activities of Procurement Engineers, Purchasing Officers, Logistic Officer, store supervisors / store keepers and Material Controllers.
Senior Buyer (Pipeline & Logistics)
Responsible for the procurement, checking the compliance of the client’s (Ashghal / Kaarama) parameters and technical specification of Pipes, fitting, and Valves, Checking the contracts, and tender specifications for timely submissions for approval for the materials to be installed on site. Logistic coordination for the timely delivery as per the project schedules. Checking the job activities of Procurement Engineers, Logistic Officer and Material Controllers. Coordination with the Engineering and Design Consultats for Design approvals and verification of the Contract Drawings for all chambers based on the dimensions of the proposed fitting to be purchased.
