Responsible for developing and embedding a comprehensive Learning and Development strategy, and ensuring the highest standard of contemporary learning and development solutions across all retail stalk-holders, aligning to business needs both current and future and in accordance with international best practice.
•Ensure delivery of cost effective solutions within the agreed L&D budget; monitor and continually review costs and adjust expenditure. Develop a robust framework that measures productivity, cost effectiveness and return on investment.
•Manage the L&D Leadership team, and drive a culture promoting innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration across the L&D team.
•Ensure the L&D administration team provide a comprehensive centralised training support and administration services.
•Directly support through the provision of English language competency programmes as a foundation and a series of careers within the industry.
•Maintain a high level of representation and dialogue with external agencies worldwide and leading business schools as well as maintaining links with other Aviation industry members through forums and formal membership of interest boards.

1. Classifying and obtaining the service staff skill level and provide them with the necessary recommendations regarding the different needs (TNA) of the training materials to reach a homogeneous skill mix of the service staff.

4. Preparing an apprenticeship / new hiring technicians plan which involves leading each apprentice through the various stages of growth and development.

9. Evaluating the effectiveness of the training programs, using surveys, questionnaires, interviews and observation, in order to plan future courses or to amend existing ones.
