Job Description :
Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) involves teaching adults and children whose first or main language is not English. The aim of each lesson is to encourage the students to communicate with each other using the structures and vocabulary they've learnt, and to improve the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Aims :
1.Using a modern and dynamic teaching approach which allows students to communicate easily using the English language.
2.Teaching specialized English courses such as those which cater to the needs of business people .
Work Activities :
• classroom management .
• planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups .
• preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises .
• marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work .
• devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources .
• attending and contributing to training sessions .
• Help students interpret literature and poetry.
• Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Job Description :
An English teacher instructs students about the correct usage of the English language. With a deep understanding of sentence structure, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and literature. And teaching creative composition such as prose, poetry, short stories, narratives and also technical writing skills which include news articles, reports, journals, and essays. And should develop a student’s oral and written communication skills, including critical thinking, oral and written comprehension, and problem solving skills. Encourage learning the English language in a fun and easy environment, especially to non-native English students.
1) Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
2) Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
3) Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
4) Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
5) Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
6) Maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students.
7) Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
