The Sharjah Children's Centers is an entity that provides extracurricular activities to children aged 6-12 years old with the aim of augmenting their life skills and developing their talents besides school academic learning. The Mughaider Art Center is a pilot project that develops children artistic talents in several mediums such as painting, pottery, photography, wearable arts, graphic design and culinary arts. As the first Art Director and Head of the Art Center, tasks included:
- Prepare the Arts Development Strategy, annual plan and specific programs for both Mughaider and non-specialized centers (14 centers), in coordination with the SCC Director.
- Recruit and train Arts Coordinators for the Center as well as engage with and outsource entities capable of delivering like-minded progressive programs specially tailored for children.
- Attract children to enroll in the Center and provide mechanisms to identify talented artists and create Personal Development Plans to enhance their capabilities.
- Participate in global and local competitions and exhibitions with children's artwork developed at the Centers as well as create events that promote the artwork of SCC children.
- Develop the international database and communication strategy (including travel) ahead of the annual Sharjah Children's Art Biennial, as well as be the team-leader for the actual event.
- General administrative tasks related to the running of the Mughaider Center, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, budgeting & finance, procurement, health & Safety, facilities maintenance, transportation, etc.

Delivered a number of Learnactive’s training programs on international customer service best practices and a variety of other soft-skills programs to different UAE government entities to increase team awareness and communication skills.
- Work closely with managers and department heads with the execution of procedures to ensure achieving operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance, strategies and techniques to be used by managers to monitor and coach employees with regards to service performance.
- Implement actions to ensure customer service deliverance of the highest standard via continuous review of processes.
- Provide guidance to the organization’s top levels with managing their perception within the community.
- Drive the importance of the U.A.E. government service excellence program; the roles the “Seven-Star” service plays in achieving the U.A.E. 2021 Vision; and identify mechanisms and tools to apply each of the points to ensuring all employees are working towards a customer service culture framework of consistent service delivery.
- Drive the department’s objectives by maintaining partnerships with other entities within the organization such as the Human Resources, IT and Administration.

- Drive business objectives by managing a proactive program of internal and external Citi events.
- Develop, manage and administer an event management strategy, and maintain proper outreach to the cluster community partners.
- Co-ordinate marketing communication activities such as events, conferences, advertising, Citi Foundation grants, sponsorship and promotional campaigns.
- Manage high profile (sponsored) public events in support of key business.
- Develop community projects in partnership with the Citi Foundation guidelines.
- Effective partnership with other parts of the organization, such as the Human Resources unit, Finance Department, Legal, Marketing and the Building Premises unit.
- Work closely with the Corporate Communication Officer and assist with managing Citi’s perception in the media via close monitoring and prompt reply to customer inquiries/complaints.
- Support CCOs and Business Managers in the region to achieve business goals by applying best practices in community relations and media communications.
- Support the Chief Executive Officer and management team in managing high profile senior in-country visits, as well as other parts of the Middle East Cluster, and ensuring precise execution of Citi conferences/ seminars/ press conferences with various partners.

- Co-ordinate and drive integrated marketing communication activities, including client events within the Middle East and Gulf region.
- Organize and co-ordinate travel schedules of senior visitors arriving to the region from the US, Europe and APME.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Communication heads in both Europe and the APME regions on logistics related to senior visits.
- Handle all logistics of setting up the client and staff areas of the Citi Private Bank’s newly established Kuwait office in order to meet Citi global standards.

- Principal Officer in charge of handling organizational events, conferences, correspondence as well as coordinating work with other embassy sections and cajoling vital contacts.
- Troubleshoot any issues between the Consular section and the different units within the embassy, outside companies and government entities, including advice on ways to handle vital embassy contacts seeking assistance.
- Liaises with foreign embassies and government of Egypt officials.
- Principal adviser to Consul General, and officers on regulations and procedures and in handling complex and sensitive cases. Screening non-routine applications and recommend way forward.
- Managing administrative workflow of the Consular staff, problem areas, time and attendance, personnel files, incoming and outgoing communication.
- Principal Officer in charge of staff training and implementation of procedures.
- Monitoring the overall activities and personnel of all units within the Non immigrant, Immigrant, Refugee, and American Citizen Services Section. Acts as backup to officers whenever needed.
- Independently handle ad hoc assignments as directed by the Consul General (e.g. produce reports and charts on monthly work performed, inventory control and ensuring the smooth operation of the section).

■ Maintained daily accounting activities for 26 retail stores in the Yorkshire area of Great Britain, including timely processing of restaurants cash sheets, invoices, transfer and other accounting documents.
■ In charge of processing and filing incoming and outgoing communications.
■ Coordinated month-end closing and query day adjustments with restaurants and operation managers to ensure correct processing.
■ Produced profit and loss accounts for each store, audited processed documents as well as followed-up on all accounting queries from restaurants and provided rapid and accurate responses.

- Developed Exchange Area outside plant construction schedules and work plan for six telephone exchanges and forty-four junction routes using PLANTRAC computer programs.
- Entered and updated transactions in the material warehouse using PROFILE LOOKUP programs.
- Checked and prepared all accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions related to the company using LOTUS spreadsheet and DBASE computer programs.
