Direct the complete activities of assigned cargo personnel engaged in Cargo Operations. Co-ordinate with Senior Manager Cargo Services and allocates workforce in accordance with workload, flight schedules to utilize maximum staff utility for company’s work performance with efficient and effective direction and control of staff in Delivery & Customer Service area.
Monitor the quality performance and reports deficiencies, customer service and security incidents.
Responsible for warehouse, equipment and safety.
Plan and roster staff to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate personnel, space and facilities for performance of cargo operations. Maintaining service level standards as per the standard of the airline and NAS.
Co-ordinate and liaise with airline representatives / managers, security, customs, government agencies and other parties to achieve best possible customer service levels.
Investigates actions complains, accidents, incidents and submit to Manager Cargo Operations.
Active member of the conformity team to obtain the ISAGO certification for Khartoum & Kuwait station.
Meet the customer airlines to ensure the satisfaction level of services provided.

Directs and supervises the activities of cargo operation to ensure provision of efficient, effective and productive services to airlines, import/export customers, freight forwarders. Ensure that import and export cargo is handle safely correctively checked in with agreed customer services standards. Directs and supervises the activities of assigned cargo personnel engaged in cargo warehousing and operations including the loading and offloading storing cargo. Allocates workforce in accordance with workload and schedules. Ensure the efficient and effective direction and control of staff. Monitor and reports performance deficiencies, customer service and security incidents. Responsible for warehouse, equipment’s & safety.
Cargo planning for flights with the available space, making online cargo reservations. Tracing shipment discrepancies, daily follow up of export cargo & import via Lufthansa Cargo Mosaik System until delivery & updating customers accordingly. Attending cargo operations for passenger & freighters (MD-11F/B747F) monitor cargo loading. Issuing air waybill, manifesting, preparing uplift documents & dispatch onboard pre-alert SITA messages. Preparing-monthly statistics of Inbound/Outbound cargo (Carrier, destination & commodity breakdown).Performing telephone sales and also at times visiting the customers to keep the ongoing business relations. Issuing import delivery orders and co-ordinating with local authorities.
Import documentation, intimation to customers regarding arrival of shipments, releasing delivery orders, sending discrepancy report after physical check of inbound flights . Collection of cash and preparing of daily statistics of delivered shipments & raising IRP for undelivered documents.
Acceptance of general cargo, reservation, releasing load for cargo build up and co-ordinating with traffic department for weight and balance figures. Attending inbound ULD’s and submitting manifest to customs authorities.
