JOB PURPOSE
- Assist in providing HR support on all HR and Administration matters.
- Support the Senior Executive Human Resource in providing end to end HR support for the assigned business units.
- Any support provided will be in line with local legislations and company policy.
- Involve in writing or updating HR policies and procedures according to the Company’s needs
- Ensure that labour regulations are met all the time
- Independently carry out sourcing needs for junior to mid-level positions.
- Contribute and support with HR specific deliverables on recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, talent management, HR administration & governance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist in developing company policies and procedures, including amendments while coordinating for the roll out and communication of such policies.
- Ensure all personnel files and employee data is up to date and accurately recorded in compliance with labour regulations.
- Support the line manager in investigating and resolving employee grievances with regard to the review process.
- Provide an effective employee relations service to line managers and staff, ensuring that advice and/or counselling is given as appropriate to ensure equitable treatment of staff, within policy, and that such matters are properly documented.
- Assist the line manager in generating reports on such matters as, Compensation and Benefits, Job Evaluation, Performance Reviews, Manpower Planning and Control
- Independently drive recruitment need for junior - mid-level positions in a timely and efficient manner and at the highest level of quality.
- Receive new staff and carry out personalized induction procedures, ensuring that new joiners are appropriately and caringly introduced to the Organization.
- Participate in exit interviews with staff who have resigned and coordinate for closure of all exit formalities.
- Participate as a team member in HR based projects and contribute towards developing new HR products, improved processes and systems that will enable HR be more customer service orientated and progressive.
Recruitment
- Oversee the initiation of employment requisitions and vacancy announcements on job portal and company website
- Ensure that job descriptions are in line with the job vacancy being requested by Line Managers
- Guarantee that sorted candidates by the HR officer are in line with the requirements
- Support the HR officer in endorsing shortlisted candidates to the requestor
- Ensure the smooth flow of recruitment process
- Check that the database is updated in a timely manner for future requirements
- Prepare all employment requests and offer letters and other related documents for initial hire procedure
- Ensure that all necessary documents needed for labor office and immigration processing are completed in coordination with PR department
- Ensure that all application are followed up with the PR department using an in-house developed Recruitment Update Guide regarding statuses in the labour office and immigration
- Conduct new hire procedure such as company orientation (i.e. policies and procedures, facilities tour, accommodation rules and regulations)
- Endorse to the respective departments when the new staff is ready for deployment
- Assure that all new staffs’ personal information and documents are entered and uploaded in the HR system in coordination with the HR Officer
- Guarantee that the company’s policies and procedures are thoroughly practiced and implemented
Employee Relations
- Coordinate departmental employee relation functions in consultation with the DAHR
- Monitor staff performance, probation confirmation, appraisal completion and other necessary employee related documents
- Assure that all staff inquiries and grievances are addressed properly in a timely manner
Compensation and Benefits
- Responsible in liaising with the accounts department regarding the monthly timesheet and payroll of all staff
- Involve in creating or updating current HR policies and procedures
- Responsible in calculation of leave settlements, ensuring that all staff annual benefits are timely granted and released as per UAE Labor Law and company policies and procedures.
- Calculation of End of Service benefits as per UAE Labor Law and company policies and procedures.
- Prepare & complete the Monthly Human Resources Report and other statistical reports as required by the DAHR
Recruitment
- Initiate employment requisitions; sorting of qualified candidates, conducts telephone screening and initial interview and endorsement to the HRM
- Update strong resume database for future requirements
- Prepare all employment requests and offer letters and other related documents for initial hire procedure
- Ensure that all necessary documents needed for labor office and immigration processing are completed in coordination with PR department
- Guarantee that all submitted new hires are followed up from the labor office approval down to the releasing of employment visas
- Endorse to the respective departments when the new staff is ready for deployment
- Assure that all new staffs’ personal information and documents are entered and uploaded in the HR system
- Guarantee that the company’s policies and procedures are thoroughly practiced and implemented
Employee Relations
- Develop confidential departmental staff and associated files and documents
- Prepares all requested letters, such as salary certificates, probation confirmation and experience certificate
General Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:
Recruitment of Foreign and Local Workers
- Involvement in hiring of foreign and local workers starting from the telephone and initial interview and endorsement to the HR Director and Assistant HR Manager and their respective departments
- Prepare necessary procedures for the hiring process (Documents for Visa Approval in Abu Dhabi, air ticket, medical and accommodation)
- Assist newly hired associates regarding their roles and responsibilities in the hotel and their department and rules and regulations in the hotel and the staff accommodation
Personnel Assistance
- Perform administrative procedures and cater the needs of associates in different departments
- Assures that monthly schedule and attendance of the HR Department is submitted to the Accounts Department
- Engaged with all the HR monthly activities for the associates of the hotel
Administrative
- Internal communication among associates and other departments
- Assigned for the preparation of the monthly ACCM (Associates Consultative Committee Meeting) with the Hotel General Manager and HR Director
- Carry out all other duties assigned by the management, HR Director and Assistant HR Manager
