Strategy and Planning:
Develop finance strategies and key initiatives in line with TDC’s goals and objectives.
Lead the financial planning processes for TDC operations including the development of a long-term plan, annual operating plan and latest estimate forecasts, resulting in the production of financial plans aligned with objectives.
Supervise the complete annual financial performance versus budgeting process for TDC in conjunction with the corporate strategy cycle to ensure efficient expenditure
Operations:
Supervise the daily operations of the finance unit to ensure alignment with the
Lead discussion at various levels of the reengineering business process project to ensure correctness, completeness and comprehensiveness of relevant information for accounting procedures and towards its continuous improvement and applications.
Work closely with
Participate in finance functions, determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies and procedures to facilitate internal financial control and analysis.
Monitoring preparation of statutory books of accounts, bank reconciliation and consolidated financial reports in compliance with IFRS/ IPSAS and other local laws.
Budget and Cash Flow:
Managing the end to end budgeting process including the monitoring of financial performance versus the budget
Devising the cost & management reports including variance analysis reports.
Managing the cash flow forecasts (and associated processes), financial risks & provide recommendations on how to achieve the funding requirements.
Financial Control and Compliance:
Monitoring and executing the statutory requirements.
Coordinating with the Audit team for conducting External & Internal Audit.
Management Reporting and other Finance duties:
Providing timely and accurate financial statements / reports, with sufficient analysis, to senior management to provide a true view of the financial performance.
Managing the accurate and efficient book keeping activities and managing year end and month end financial closing activities.
Controlling the entire banking operations.
Managing payroll and fixed asset modules.
Ensure the tracking of overall Finance performance against specified KPIs
