 Managing daily procurements works in direct relation with stakeholders to ensure the efficient implementation of new or changing products/services.
 Establish close relationships with stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements.
 Communicating and implementing sourcing plans/strategies for specific managed categories.

 Following the Strategic Sourcing Process tools, templates and policies developed by the Category Manager and applying the Standardized Procurement Model.
 Works with assigned commodity group, planning and organizing all tasks.
 Works with best total cost solutions and coordinate/negotiate corporate contracts for assigned commodities with the expectation of providing purchase price reductions and establishing purchase orders.
 Review purchase request for material via MRP or manual purchase requisition.
 Read engineering blueprints or any relevant technical documents
(Drawings, specification and data sheet). Technical understanding of assigned categories.
 Processes purchasing-related functions (e.g. BOQ, RFI, RFP, RFQ, bid documents, Commercial evaluation and tabulations and technical Evaluation for pre-engineered parts).
 As applicable, to expedite critical components and overdue purchase orders.
 Resolve supplier problems associated with over shipments, invoicing issues or obsolete items.
 Maintain supplier relationships in order to drive cost reductions while continually achieving the highest level of quality material.
 Review, analyze and interpret various reports related to category spends

 Review the Tender Documents (Technical Specification, Correspondences, BOQ and Drawings)
 Prepare the List of Trades such as Items to be purchased, subcontract works, provisional sum and pc rates Items.
 Coordinate with the Planning Department for the Contractors Program of Works necessary for procurement process.
 Coordinate with the Cost Control Department for the approved budget.
 Prepare and issue inquiries to recommended suppliers / subcontractors by the Client and Contractor or capable suppliers / subcontractors sourced from the market.
 Analyze and evaluate all the Technical and Commercial aspects of all the quotations and proposals in compliance with tender documents and Contractors terms and conditions.
 Conduct negotiation for the target / best prices, delivery date and other related issues.
 Prepare Cost Comparison Sheet and submit to the Procurement Manager for approval.
 Prepare Letter of Intent, Subcontract Agreements and Supply Order.
 Coordinate with the Supplier / Subcontractor to prepare necessary Material Submittals, Compliance Statement, Prequalification Document and any other required documents in order to submit the same for the Consultant / Client Approval.
 Check and Calculate the quantity of materials as needed to verify the actual cost.
 Work with less supervision and meet tight deadline.
 Maintain procurement files.
 Assist the procurement manager for some particular works of different projects.

• Participation in the identification of all requirements during estimation phase of tendering.
• Compare the materials allowed in the tender to prepare and plan to obtain maximum potential cost savings and competitive advantages.
• Receiving the requisitions from different end users.
• Carry out the suppliers’ selection Criteria and issue the Request for Quotation (RFQ).
• Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information and are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.
• Receiving the quotations. (Competitive offers).
• Prepare commercial comparison and tabulation sheet.
• Prepare and Issue the Contracts or Purchase orders.
• Maintain and coordinate all the related issues between the suppliers and the end users.
• Tracking and expediting the manufacturing process and delivery of the goods.
• Negotiate the best commercial terms in order to obtain the maximum competitive advantages.
• Coordinate and follow up with the finance department regarding the suppliers due payments.
• Keep accurate records to justify the process and any other related decisions made in this regard.
• Excellent working exposure on ISO standardization on Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure that the company procurement policy and procedures are well implemented.
