Looking after two packaging plants production and maintenance (FMCG); Industrial plant & Retail plant with a
total annual packing capacity of 1, 800, 000 MT of granular white sugar in addition to the specialty products plants.
Managing with strong knowledge of all operational functions including Production, Maintenance, Quality, HSE,
Cost, Customer service and Performance.
Controlling the plants reliability, spare parts ordering, budget & engineering projects as well as focusing on
achieving the yearly business KPIs.
Ensures that the finished products plans are achieved by reviewing daily output & solve the issues with the
concerned Department.
Supervise preparing work schedules for Condition Monitoring & Planned Maintenance & Shutdowns.
To identify and organize plant replacement when required.
Managing the plants operation & maintenance managers and the whole staff effectively, with particular emphasis
on Productivity, Maintenance, Effective Communication, Training, Safety and Continuous Improvement.
CAPEX, R & M budgets control.
Works safely at all times. Observes all quality & housekeeping policies. Keeps own work area clean & hygienic.
Projects, looking after the integration of new equipment into existing plant. This included process and structural
planning, installation, rehabilitation, maintaining and commissioning of sugar related equipment.
Achievements:
1. Initiated and executed with successful feasibility packing plants automation to the latest technology to save
55% from the headcount as well as 21% from the BOM cost.
2. Optimized the operation in the Retail plant, modified handling system “In House” and increased the plant
capacity by 28% reliable and stable production.
3. Initiated reliability report & increased the plant reliability to be around 90 %.
4. Project of replacing one of the large handling system “TIP-TRAK” with a different technology of elevators &
screw conveyors which is leading to save 20% of our annual maintenance cost.
Looking after the Factory & Packaging plants maintenance.
Maintenance and reliability of two grab cranes in Jeddah Islamic Port for raw sugar ships unloading.
Controlling the plant reliability, spare parts ordering, budget & engineering projects as well as focusing on
achieving the yearly KPIs.
To provide Refinery Mechanical Engineering and Workshop services so that production losses are minimized,
technical efficiencies maintained and plant availability to agreed levels is achieved. That includes maintaining
factory reliability & mechanical engineering projects in high level and achieving our KPIs.
Prepares work schedules for the Engineering, Condition Monitoring & Planned Maintenance, Mechanical
Workshop and port operations in order to achieve acceptable reliability standards within agreed budgets so that
output is affected as little as possible.

1. Restructured the department, reduced the headcount and saved in the payroll 15%.
2. Optimized the maintenance cost by designing & implementing “Enterprise Asset Management system” for
proper maintenance system.
3. Reorganize the maintenance setup from firefighting to preventive and predictive maintenance at most.
4. Developed the workshop facilities and staff skills for many in house projects and huge savings.
I was starting with Savola since 18/11/2006 and still working to now.
• I Trained for 10 weeks with KINDASA WATER SERVICES CO. in the field of sea water R.O. desalination systems.
