• Weekly market visits
o To gather information on promotions/launches, competitor activities, pricing and distribution
o Promotion / Launches: Product availability, Execution, POSM deployment.
o Competitor activity: New launches, Promotions, New claims / platforms.
o Pricing: Price comparison, Price changes.
o Distribution: Product availability, Product placement in accounts.
o Consumer insight (likes / dislikes, habits) thru personal interviews.
o New developments in packaging.
Evaluation
• Retrieve data from internal systems and present it in tables / charts which are easily understood
• Compare effects of promotion on sales and or consumer behavior
Marketing Initiatives
• Share ideas with the team on Product development / improvement
• Assist in concept development and execution of promotions, POSM and sponsorships
• Identify need for POSM in regions / depots and cater to them accordingly
Marketing Communication
• Communicate with Alyoum consumers on social networks to share marketing updates on new launches, promotions, etc.
