Based in the headquarters for the EMAIR (Europe, Middle East, Africa & India) region managing more than 66 branches in 40 countries and reporting to the regional vice president :
o Projects Management:
* Design, implementation, and management of new projects.
* Resource planning, timelines monitoring, target fulfillment, task prioritization and on time execution to make sure the project is implemented in the most cost-effective way.
o Design and Optimization / Improvement
* Warehouse design including layout engineering
* Feasibility study and ROI analysis
* Current state assessment including processes, organization chart, material handling equipment, layout plan, storage solutions and system.
* Optimization of supply chain and logistics operations and establishment of continuous improvement programs aiming to decrease the overall cost while improving productivity.
o Quality control
* Devising and establishing quality procedures, standards, and specifications according to six-sigma methodology
* Monitoring performance by establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
o Sales & Customer Retention
* Leading and implementing sales initiatives across EMAIR
* Executing on-site sales calls
* Assisting branches in setting customer proposals and pricing
o Commercial RFPs: Take ownership over requests for proposals sent by major potential customers in EMAIR region and coordinate the RFQs on a regional level as well as presenting the solution for big customers.
o P&L analysis: deep drill into each branch’s P&L in order to:
* Identify non-profitable accounts and the root cause behind them.
* Make sure budgets are met
o Training: Deliver necessary training remotely and onsite for newly hired / promoted managers & staff within EMAIR. Training includes:
* Logistics infrastructure, material handling & safety equipment
* Operational procedures
* EDMS (Expeditors in-house system and its subsidiaries)
