Dental Nurse

Oversees dental staff training for all dental clinics, is responsible for assuring dental staff is given training prior to starting in assigned clinics.
Orientate and train new Dental staff
Provides guidance and answers questions for the Dental Assistant staff as needed.
Supervisory duties including Payroll, attendance monitoring, disciplinary matters within the department.
Provides assistance to dentist during examination and treatment of patient as needed.
Works with the purchasing department to order dental clinical related items.
Will provide back-up to primarily assigned tech in Sterilization as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Prepare and maintain the clinical environment.
Chair-side assistance to a dentist.
Assist the dentist in examining patient's teeth and gums (includes, removing plaques and tartar deposits).
Record clinical charting during routine dental examinations.
Take process and develops dental x-rays so that the dentist can tell what other procedures might necessary.
Prepare and arrange dental instruments, equipments and medication.
Prepare patients for treatments and examinations (checking blood pressure to make sure that the patient is able to undergo needed procedures.
Purposely help to distract patient on what the dentist is doing and provide calming presence on the room so that patient doesn’t frightened or nervous, specially in pediatric patient.
Prepare local anesthetic syringes for the dentist.
10. Assist the dentist for any dental procedures by handling instruments, suctioning fluids from patient's mouth and mixing materials such as Amalgam, Alginate, etc.
11. Cleaning up the dental facility at all times, sterilize and sanitize used instruments and dispose according to the state or local sanitation regulations.
12. Monitor and reassure patients undergoing dental treatment.
13. Provide advice to patients and refer concerns and questions to the dentist.
14. Assist and support clinical team members in any medical emergency.
15. Assist with reception with regards to booking appointments and payments.
16. Reports things needed such as medications and instruments.
OBSTETRIC WARD NURSE
Receives immediate post partum mothers from delivery room taking special consideration on vital signs monitoring and uterine status
Give and perform treatment like perineal care and perilite exposure
Renders health teachings to mothers as well as the family on the importance of breastfeeding, technique of breastfeeding, and maternal and child care.
Initiate life saving measures to assessed clients immediate attention.
Facilitate admission of patients requiring hospitalization by coordinating with other departments concerned.
Provide safe and convenient ambulance conduction.
Continuously train Emergency Room personnel in rendering efficient and effective nursing care.
Provide proper and accurate documentation of all records of services rendered at the Emergency Room
Assist in minor operations.
Assist in Emergency situation like performing CPR, ECG, starting IV lines, and giving Emergency drugs.
Responsible for Sales personnel.
Provides assistant and training.
Assisting the team with daily sales target.
Follow up Sales leads and potentials customer contacts.
Coordinate with fellow consultant in dealing and closing the deal.
Responsible for the contract agreement between the company and the client.
Assess patient’s needs, expectations, anxieties, and other concerns.
Discuss information about the purpose of various types of care the patients receive pre-operative and post-operative such as activity and exercise, pain control, special equipment needed for his/her care and the patients role in his recovery.
Assess the patients general health status pre-operatively and documenting baseline vital signs, airway, breathing and circulation.
Prepares and give treatment like ski preparation of the operative area, cleansing enemas, vaginal douche, morning bath and care.
Provide post operative and post anesthesia care of patients, monitoring hemodynamic, level of consciousness, airway, breathing and neurologic status and implements the corresponding measures as well as carrying out physicians order.
Implements measures to prevent post operative complications and promote early recovery.
MEDICAL WARD NURSE
Do nursing round for the purpose of observing, assessing and evaluating patients with medical problems.
Plan nursing care to medical patients
Carry out physicians order and other therapeutic regimen following prescribed standards.
Implement nursing care to assigned patients.
Make rounds with the attending consultants. Call the member of the house staff to meet the needs of the patients and update of the situation.
Assist physician when required in the administration of diagnostic tests, treatment, and other procedures.
Evaluate plan of care in the nurse’s notes.
INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU)
Closely monitor patients who had complicated illnesses with attached gadgets.
Do impendent nursing functions such as NGT insertions, urethral catheter insertion, blood extraction, suctioning, tracheotomy care, and change of wound dressing.
Assist in any bedside procedures such as CVP insertion or cut down.
