• Ensure that all orders are received and processed in JDE.
• Consistently meet IFOT targets for the allocated customers/markets through efficient planning and monitoring.
• Ensure all appropriate documentation and approvals are in place for all out of contract / adhoc activities for warehouse operation.
• Ensure adequate controls are in place for managing inventory, and ensuring that reconciliation is completed within stipulated timelines.
• Ensure customer complaints received are investigated and reported within the stipulated time frame.
• Ensure that the KPIs for the warehousing and distribution operations are met as per agreed measures.
• Support LM for timely submission of Logistic Performance report and IFOT report to business.
• Act as first level of escalation for the team for daily warehouse operational activities.
• Ensure a close working relationship with the plant and other stake holders, representing from Supply Chain operation during weekly and monthly meetings.
• Supports Logistics Manager to make informed decisions in concerned area of operations and communicate.
• Ensure the timely reconciliation of JDE and invoices.
• Support to JDE team for various system testing during upgrading.
• Serve as back up for Logistics Manager as and when required.
• Manage the smooth flow of material and reduce bottlenecks despite blocks in the operation such as credit hold, non-availability of transport, and customer needs.
• Ensure no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment in the scope of work by adhering to all BP and plant HSSE policies and standards through consistent monitoring.
•Supervise all activities undertaken by contractor (if any) and the warehouse staff to ensure adherence to laid down procedures& process and mentor the staff with a view to improve performance levels.
• Operate as the focal point between Plant Manager and the supply chain organization through close co-ordination with the planning, procurement, production, warehouse, transporters and other party suppliers.
• Ensure that all customer requirements and priorities are met through constant dialogue with the customer services team and Plant Team
Job Responsibility
Ensure adherence to all relevant purchase order, applicable specification, and standard. As per YASREF standard.
Ensure all of materials to comply with purchase order, code standard and project specification requirement.
Liaise with warehouse supervisor to issue OS& D report when found the quantity of materials over, shortage and damaged.
Reporting to Buyer to complete details of OSDR when found materials are not complied with purchase order, code standard and project specification requirement.
Input / release for good materials into ERP (SAP / EWM system).
Issuing Material through SAP / EWM.
Creation of Purchase requisitions.
Material cataloging using Material data record manager (MDRM).
Perform inspection and prepare inspection report when purchase require to special inspection.
Perform inspection for materials ship loose prior to send to offshore and completed certificate.
Perform inspection for the materials returned from operation.
Over all materials preliminary inspection base on material documents such as specification and mechanical drawings.
Reviewing documentation Material test certification supplied by vendor to ensure equipment supplied meets all clients’ requirements.
Ensuring preservation routines are carried out in accordance with YASREF procedures.
Ensure all required documentation is current in accordance with procedures and processes.
Maintain housekeeping standards within Warehouse and operating areas.
Other reasonable tasks as required by YASREF Supervision or Management.
Maintain good inventory of material stocks on hand.
Reliever for administration clerical jobs as assigned.
Document controlling for any related material documents and Warehouse files (Internal & external files).
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
Handles and coordinates with logistics and vendor/ third party transporter for incoming and outgoing shipments local or foreign.
Ensure the steady flow of materials necessary for operating a manufacturing line
Manage the supply of products to end user, making sure there are adequate materials to ensure steady production and product delivery to end user. They monitor materials flow to identify bottlenecks and forecast problems
Observe trends and end user requests to create and maintain inventory schedules. Keeping track of production volume and purchasing expectations
Organizing and scheduling customer deliveries and process end user shipment inquiries or complaints and schedule changes or cancellations for shipment orders.
Liaisons between manufacturing and other departments and receive project plans and additional information to determine timelines and necessary materials and coordinate supplier payments with the accounting department.
Complies and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities: Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.
Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.
Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, hand truck, or forklift.
Records and maintains perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed,
Compiles and maintains records, such as material inventory records, production records, and timecards, manually.
Direct expediting transfer of materials from stock area to production areas.
Examine material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts.
May compare work ticket specifications to material used at work stations to verify appropriate assignment.
Facilitates and expedites the flow of materials within the various manufacturing departments.
Reviews production schedule and inventory reports and coordinates with manufacturing operations, purchasing and shipping/receiving to ensure end user orders and requirements are met.
