Monitoring teaching activities in the department of mechanical and metals for technical training to ensure quality and safety of various training programs. Actively review and develop curriculum for new and existing programs as well as contribute in the accreditation process by various international accreditation bodies. Support the training institute in the facility development, management and operation. Hiring and retaining trainers in the area of mechanical and metals to enhance the quality of training.

Teaching and curriculum development for mechanical engineering courses. Serving in various committee such as departmental quality committee, risk assessment and management committee, and industrial consultancy committee. Advising students in the senior design project and industrial training.

Teaching professional engineers in the field of Mechanical and Materials Engineering for the preparation of professional engineering and practice (PE) license exams. As well as tutoring engineering students of Mechanical engineering to strengthen their knowledge on subject matters.

Managed engineering team of 5 to 20 for various EPC projects with a total project value of US$50 Million to $ 500 Million and scope value of US$ 2 Million to 15 Million. Contributed to the company operation through bid preparation and submission. Coordinated with clients and members within the interdisciplinary groups such as engineering team, drafting team, project team, fabrication team, geotechnical team, and installation team to finish the job on time and meet the quality standard.
• Completed 30+ projects for clients such as Exxon, Bp, Shell, Chevron, Hess, Petrobras, Total, Eni, Anadarko, Freeport, Marathon, and others.
• Contributed in cost reduction initiatives for internal standardization and customer compliance.
• Developed and enforced design procedure and guidelines for subsea structural analysis, fatigue analysis, and materials selection.
• Ensured compliance with federal and industry standards and code such as ASME, API, DNV, Norsok, AISC, ISO and ABS.
• Promptly and timely decision making saved company in millions during the critical offshore campaign for subsea construction projects.
• Selected materials for piping and structures and specified coating requirements.
• Global and local analysis of various structures including fatigue life design.
• Performing design and analysis of piping and various subsea systems such as pipeline end manifold (PLEM), pipeline end terminal (PLET), in-line sled (ILS), SKID, and Suction Pile.
• Structural and piping design was performed using ABAQUS, CAESAR II, ANSYS, SACS, SAP2000, Mathcad, and others.
• Participated and contributed in the technical review meeting for hazard identification and remediation through Hazid and Hazop for several EPC projects.
• Seafastening design for restricted and unrestricted transportation.
• Design and selection of lifting equipment for structures weight more than 100 tons.
• Cathodic protection calculation for subsea piping and structures.

Performing offshore structural design and analysis with material selection and assist engineering manager in all activities related to design discipline as well as mentor project engineers. Coordinate with clients and members within the interdisciplinary group.
•Performed dynamic and fatigue analysis for stringer system of G1200 vessel and designed secondary steel such as padeyes, link, bulk head, etc. Tools used are Orcaflex (equivalent), ABAQUS, Mathcad, etc.
•Cathodic protection calculation for subsea structure and pipelines.
•Designed mooring lines for FPSO and performed cathodic protection analysis for subsea structures and pipelines.
•Writing technical reports, overview drafting and maintaining the project tasks and mentoring graduate engineers were a routine job.

Materials study in the form of thin film and nano particles as well as solid alloys to evaluate mechanical and micro-structural properties. Structural design of research equipment facilities. Writing technical journals and served as journal reviewer as well as mentor for graduate students.
Design and analysis of ultra high vacuum system for physical vapor deposition.
Performed micro-structural analysis of metal and metal oxide materials using atomic force microscopy (AFM), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Profilometry, Particle sizing, etc.
Authored 25 research publications, 14 conference presentation/abstracts, 1 invited lecture, 1 review article, 2 patent applications.
Mentored design engineers and graduate students.

Performed fundamental research on thin film materials as well as mechanical behavior on cold formed steel. Taught mechanical engineering class.
Studied mechanical behavior of alloy steel under cold roll deformation.
Investigated new solution based growth technique of superconducting coated conductors using SEM, XRD, etc.
Performed fundamental research on identification and growth mechanism of novel functional materials.
Taught Experimental Methods for senior class student in Mechanical Engineering.

Taught mechanical engineering courses as well as designed experimental test set-up. Also worked in the HVAC designs.
