As a Regional supply chain planner I am responsible handling the planning of Etisalat core devices/items for Customer Service Engineering operations. I work closely with, Field operations, Regional Management, Material Management, Technical Procurement, Procurement and Central Warehouse, Regional Sub store, logistics departments and Vender's to ensure plans are aligned with demand and supply.
Responsible Setting inventory parameters, aligning forecast with demand, preventing production delays, tracking supplier delivery performance, assessing capacity availability, maintaining stocks, and investigating supply chain issues.
Achievements
• Successfully managed orders with a total Value of AED-390 Million
• Total Quantity of orders raised is 91 (Phone’s, ONT’s, Router’s, IAD’s, IPTV-STB's, Passive)
• Successfully managed to get delivery enhancement due to proactive forecasting & planning to suppliers to meet Regional demand.
Responsibilities
• Planner for all Passive & Active (Previously) orders, from initial raising of the order to issuing of the PO. Ensuring all difficulties are resolved and approval obtained by coordinating with the concerned sections(TS Budget, TP/CM, Procurement, and Material Management)
• Assume full ownership for planning and supply chain execution of the Passive items
• Department’s representative in interactions with Marketing and Engineering on new product introduction and product transition.
• Ensure suppliers to provide FOC for every order as well as Safeguard supplier production capacity is in place to meet Etisalat demand and upside targets.
• Provide input to Marketing to help develop the demand plan.
• Escalation point for all issues impacting Passive Material supply chain operation.
• Vender Management/Relations - delivery Requirements, Price Negotiations, Contracts, payments and other related issues. Reviewing and authorizing the Monthly consumption Stock Requirement to Regions.
• Maintaining threshold stock for most Active/Passive items. While monitoring the releasing/Distribution from HO control to regional teams
• Initiate forecast to supplier accordingly, ensuring deliveries are aligned with Etisalat Order-Plan requirements. Monitoring and Updating the Stock Reordering Plan based on Forecast, consumption and deliveries
• Ensure consistency and alignment between HO Warehouse and regional sub store inventory levels.
• Initiate and coordinate Buyback & write-off request, liaising with concerned teams to complete the process.
• Monitor and regularly review Slow & None Moving Items, Coordinate with the Regions for Possible Utilization solutions for slow moving items
• Coordinate to ensure the Device inspections Testing (Material Received Advice) are completed.
• To automate Field Technician activities (scheduling tasks, updating/closing sub requests & dockets, real-time) for service provisioning and fault clearance through WFM and thus reducing delay in Service delivery.
• To control and monitor contractor's performance to achieve required Contractor Management Service Level KPI. Executive summary reports for highlighting critical issues for top management
• Ensure the issuance of No Objection Certificate/Material Received Advice/Provisional Acceptance Certificate and other related issues.
