• As a materials & Corrosion engineer, I am taking care for all corrosion issues in rotating,
static, and process piping including any discrepancy in material of construction.
• Responsible for providing training, coaching, mentoring & transfer technical skills to
subordinates and juniors regarding corrosion issues and failures.
• To provide Technical Support within the organization for equipment, process piping and
materials competency issues including upgradation of material as required and other
queries.
• To develop and update safe operating/testing procedures for Materials & Corrosion lab
equipment, instrument, and components.
• To Conduct Failure Analysis and failure mechanism investigation for received failed samples
from plants through mechanical and metallurgical testing and creation of failure analysis
reports that add core values to support root cause investigation for failures.
• Support SADARA operations, maintenance, and engineering team by providing timely,
accurate and precise test results that will add core values to support RCI, TA, Turnaround
and other emergency task related to materials and corrosion laboratory standpoint.
• To Improve Plant Asset Utilization through effective and timely material failure analysis with
useful and practical recommendations.
• Creation of purchase requisitions and notifications for arranging the services, spare parts,
and consumables for lab activities.
• To meet the financial Prime target for AI Materials & Corrosion lab by controlling cost of
Spare parts, consumables and services required for lab equipment.

• Responsible for registration of two years spare parts for new projects/equipment through
PEMTO.
• Responsible for Material identification, Material Master Creation, amendments, extension of
material (spare parts) from other Sabic affiliates.
• To update Spare part inventory (ROP/MAX) quantities for all critical consumables and spares
parts as per actual requirement for optimizing the plant functionality.
• Responsible for updating of Material Master (updating description, deletion of obsolete
materials/spare parts) through MDRM.
• Creation of purchase requisitions (PRs) for spare parts, and consumables as per plant
equipment and maintenance requirement.
• Responsible for technical evaluation of quotations offered by vendors and inspection of
incoming spare parts and consumables as per required specifications.
• Internal coordination regarding the availability of spare parts with maintenance, planning,
TAM planning, inventory, and warehouse.
• Preparation of BOM for all plant equipment, arrangement of materials/spare parts from other
Sabic affiliates through Inter Affiliate Good Issue Request during urgency or emergency
situations.

• Worked at AR-RAZI methanol plant as an inspection engineer, it is one of SABIC affiliates.
• To supervise and participate in the inspection and testing of all static equipment of process
plants and pipelines and provide analyses of equipment condition as per safe inspection
procedures.
• To advise on repair techniques, materials selection, welding procedures, inspection, and
testing requirements.
• To perform In-service Inspection of process equipment as per API 510 Pressure Vessel
Inspection Code for Rating, Repair and Alteration.
• To conduct in-service and condition-monitoring programs to determine the integrity of
pressure vessels and pressure-relieving devices.
• To perform In-service Inspection of process piping as per Piping Inspection Code API 570:
Visual Inspection, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), In-line Inspection (ILI), Pressure Testing,
Cathodic Protection Inspection, Structural Integrity, Leakage Detection.
• Creation of inspection reports, Inspection Section was responsible for carrying out all
inspection activities required to ensure plant integrity and reliability for the safe and efficient
operation and maintenance of the plant-based inspection reports recommendations and as
per RBI methods.
• To handle contractors ranging from highly specialized to labor, depending on relevant
inspection tasks, during Major Maintenance and/or Extraordinary Maintenance projects or
other specific activities.
• To supervise all in-process and shutdown inspection activities, for stationary equipment
including pressure relieving devices, corrosion monitoring and investigation of failures.
• To prepare the data and updates the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to enhance
plants Integrity and reliability to optimize inspection frequency, maintenance cost, and plants
availability.
• To assist the Inspection section head, and to prepare long and short-term inspection
business plans and budgets.
• To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies,
and procedures.

• Preparation of scope of work for maintenance of tanks and piping comes under Testing and
Inspection schedule.
• Planning and scheduling for inspection and different maintenance and repair activities.
• Estimation & costing for preparing different service orders like removal & reinstallation of
valves & spools, cleaning, mechanical work, civil work, abrasive blasting & coating etc.
• Preparation of Services Orders for inspection of tanks and piping including repair of tanks
and related piping (mechanical and civil activities).

• Galvanco is the manufacturer of lighting poles transmission poles, telecommunication towers,
and general fabrication with hot dip galvanizing.
• Worked as a Quality Control Engineer with special responsibility, preparation for ISO
documents for ISO-9001 certification from TUV.
• To ensure that the procurement of materials & equipment is in accordance with applicable
standards such as American standards, and company standards.
• Inspection of raw materials, stage inspection of fabrication, and final inspection after
galvanizing as per ASTM A 123, BS-729 standards.
• Preparation of quality control plans, final inspection of finished products, preparation of
weekly/monthly reports of quality department

• Carried out inspection at various industries for various materials like ERW Pipes/tubes, SAW
Pipes, Forgings, and castings.
• Carried out inspection at various industries for various equipment like Pressure
Vessels/Cryogenic Vessels, tanks, Filtration system, Air dryers, chlorine containers etc.
• Carried out inspection at various projects like Kandla Bhatinda pipeline project SKODA (1460
Km 12 to 48 refine product pipeline); CNG Mother Station project at Sarai Kale Khan Ring
Road New Delhi (48 Km 4, 8, 12 to 20 gas pipeline); GTI project Gas Authority of India
Ltd. (10 Km 4 Gas pipeline project) for fire-fighting training of GTI employees.
