JOB DESCRIPTION:
Electrical Technician:
• Work on substation by replacing damage circuit breakers, cables Splicing HV and LV, check High Pot Test and Insulation Resistance Test.
• Repair or replace wiring equipment and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors, distribution board and change over switch.
• Knowledge in I.T. works like cable trucking connection to server room.
• Troubleshoot and repair mig welding machines such as E SAB, Jackel and WB Alloy M-500 Machines.
• Assemble power extension cable with 63 amps. Male and Female sockets.
• Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
• Perform physically demanding task like cable pulling, digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
• Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes and remote switch and panel control, adjust brakes and replacing damage motor.
• Knowledge in 3 phase power supply, work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs to install, maintain or repair wiring equipment and fixtures.
• Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generator and driving needed vehicles.
• Connect power cables to generator.
• Can work under minimum supervision.
• Troubleshoot and repair power tools such as pencil grinder, grinder, drilling machine, and blower.
• Repair welding torch for MIG Machine, TIG Machine, replace damage cables for ear thing or grounds, troubleshooting on diesel welding machine and 8 pack welding machine change fuses, diode if necessary.
• Responsible for maintaining good condition of all electrical equipment use in the workshop can work whether indoor or outdoor.
