Projects:

TIARA UNITED TOWERS are two similar sized towers of 46 stories each plus ground and three basements including an adjoining podium area through level two to level five and separate car parking. The towers are designed to a height of 204 m one of them is a five star hotel and the other is offices, the car parks will provide parking for 480 hotel vehicles and 608 office vehicles.
The site located in business bay and is bounded by Sheikh Zayed road

Responsibilities: (Senior MEP Coordinator)

1- Monitor and follow-up with the main consultant for the production of tender documents.
2- Design review according to international codes
3- Coordination with all other disciplines of work
4- Attending the progress and coordination meetings with the project management.
5- Monitor and follow-up Contractors progress of work and quality
6- Monitor the project progress according to the project time schedule

- Jabal Al-Kala'a complex facing the holy Makkah Haram consists of seven towers with heights from 42 up to 73 floors with budget 1750 m$ - under construction.
A fabulous high-rise residential and commercial complex of 1, 500, 000 m2 built- up area on a site area of 37, 000 m2 facing the holy Makkah Haram. The complex comprises six residential towers (about 8000 apartments) and 5-star hotel tower (850 room) and a podium beneath the
towers housing a shopping mall, restaurants and food courts, a large prayer area for 2500 people, 600 luxury studios over looking the Holy Haram, and a parking area for 700 cars and buses.
The maximum demand of the project is about 180 MVA.

- King Khaled Dual Tunnel in Mecca, Each tunnel is 1 KM long with 16 meters in diameter and the maximum demand of the project is 3.2 MVA
- Pilgrims accommodation in Mina - Phase I, II & III. ( 200 M$ )
- Aziziyah Treatment Plant & Muzdalifa Waste Water.
- Arafat Fire Fighting Tunnel Reservoir.
- Mina Fire Fighting & Desert Cooler Tunnel Reservoir.


Responsibilities:


1- Responsible Consultant for all Electrical and low current systems works.
2- Participate in design according to international codes.
3- Shop Drawings review and approval.
4- Material submittal Review and approval.
5- Inspection of mock-ups installation to set the quality required for the project.
6- Coordination with other disciplines of work including Architecture, Interior design, etc…
7- Attending the progress and coordination meetings with project management of the project.
8- Reviewing the operation and maintenance manuals
9- Supervising the testing and commissioning

Senior Electrical Engineer at VINCI international Construction Company

Projects:

-Al-Azhar dual carriageway tunnel:
The project consists of two parallel road tunnels connecting Cairo city center with the axis North South Salah Salem. Each tunnel is 2665m length, 6m lane width with an internal diameter of 8, 35m. The tunnel designed to accommodate up to 2800 vehicles per hour. The two tunnels are equipped with a pedestrian link tunnel, emergency sliding exits to under road rescue circuit, fire extinguishers, emergency shoulders, ventilation stations, control rooms with monitoring systems, emergency telephones and alarms.


-Underground Cairo Metro line 2 (Subway):
Three underground stations running 5 KM under the ground and passing under the Nile river link the Cairo & Giza governments together, the stations depths varying from 15-23m the platform length is 144m and is designed to accommodate an eight-car train.

Responsibilities:

1) Review design Drawings, specifications, and all tender documents.
2) Review the shop drawings and submittals in compliance with IFC documents.
3) Monitor and follow-up progress of work in accordance to approved baseline program.
4) Ensure the quality of executed works at the site.
5) Testing and commissioning for the different electrical trades.
6) Prepare close out documents for project handover

Site Engineer at Kajima Construction Company
  • Egypt - Cairo
  • October 1992 to March 1996

Projects:

Reftruck Lambert factory in 10th Ramdan city.
Production factory and assembly workshop for refrigerating truck manufacturing and administration building, landscape, external parking area and complete infrastructure, the total built up area is 18000 sq meters.

CIB (Commercial International Bank) El Zamalek branch:
Tow bank branches each one consists of 4 floors with built up area 50000 sq meters
The work included transformers, generators, Panel boards, lighting fixtures, sockets, earth network, fire
alarm, fire fighting, CCTV, telephone system and background music system.

1- Site supervision for construction of electrical installations.
2- prepare shop drawings and material submittal.
3- Testing and commissioning for the different electrical trades.
4- Project management aspects and technical assistance.
