Leading the franchise operations activities of the 3 brands & central kitchen handling all controlling and supporting aspects, analyzing the P&L, cutting costs and setting the budgets. Chief for the project of franchising the business, model all franchising systems, standards, SOPs, manuals & materials, set the supplier list and the approved raw material brands, design the supply chain and IT infrastructure and get involved in all marketing activities. Generating leads, negotiating and closing franchise agreements. Achieved the 1st milestone by opening the 1st franchised outlet in Nov 2019 and implementing aggressive plan to be a successful leading franchisor in the F&B business focusing on the GCC area & studying other international markets
Acting as director of franchise operations: Started with 35 operating cafés and reached 115 by Jan 2019 with an average frequency of opening 3 cafés per month. Leading a team of franchise support consultants (country managers), chef & barista trainers, food safety & quality specialist, that are dedicated to support the franchisees in the MENA region, in terms of: Sites selection, construction, pre-openings & Openings, Operation Management, Franchise Control, Quality Management System's formation & Implementation, Auditing, Assessment & Development. Channel communications between the franchisees and the different departments within the franchisor organization, follow up on franchisees need and duties. Make sure dipndip brand, values, culture, standards and quality are reflected. Confirm the outlets operate efficiently and profitably, plan new openings, making sure the expansion plan is executed with a high quality of support and professionalism.
Operations Manager Lebanon (11 outlets operating end of 2015):
Initiated strategic market plan to analyze key strengths, weaknesses, competitors and new business opportunities, work in coordination with the top level management to set up short term and long term goals. Assist the top level management in preparing strategies to achieve the goals and objectives. Motivate executives, managers and employees to devote their best to achieve the business goals. Ensure that all the tasks carried out by the departments are of required standards and quality. Made sure that recruitment and hiring procedure are conducted smoothly, without any problems. Ensure that the new employees get good quality training as per their area of expertise.
Held responsibility of managing subordinates and guiding them towards the attainment of business objectives.
