Duties and Responsibilities :-
• Responsible for the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.
• Responsible for assisting with the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation and preparation of purchase orders.
• Locating key suppliers, • Negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements and making sure their materials and products meet the Project's specications.
• Preparation of RFPs and dispatch to contractors or consultant oces which includes instructions, general contract conditions, special conditions, review tables of quantities, and any other documents.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Following up on purchase orders, organizing, and conrming delivery of goods and services.
• Overseeing and managing procurement trackers regarding shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Preparing procurement reports.
NUPCO Logistics Warehouse Project - Dammam 3rd industrial city

I’m responsible to perform the more difficult and complex negotiation, preparation, tracking orders, and processing of contracts, leases, and procurement documents for a variety of equipment, materials, supplies, and services for the District and supervises the activities of a procurement unit.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:-
• Assisting in preparation of RFPs/RFQ documents
• Managing all procurement activities and following up with all company departments (Engineering, Finance, Operation, etc);
• Assessing senior procurement level team on day to day tasks
• Follow up with Procurement Manager for weekly progress report.
• Ensure that all procurement trackers are up to date and on schedule.
• Identify and source suppliers to meet project requirements and procurement
Strategy.
•submitting pre-qualification and material submittal documents to the client and PMC core team for approval after adequate analysis and adherence to project specifications and client satisfaction.
As Procurement Engineer my role was vital in supporting and expediting various construction activities in awarded projects within the required time frame and allocated budget.
My main role consists of three main domains, Sub-contract administration, procurement, and cost control.
My tasks include but are not limited to the following for each domain:
A- Sub-Contract Administration:
- Preparation, Follow-up, and Closing of Sub-Contractors Analytical PCs
- Follow-Up with sub-contractors and site teams to expedite and facilitate operations on site
- inforcing contract conditions and penalties as per signed contracts.
- liaising with the financial department to facilitate sub-contractors approved payments to expedite work progress.
B- Procurement:
- Preparation, submittal, and follow-up of RFQs and POs for needed construction materials
- Vendor/Supplier scouting to further expand suppliers list.
- Negotiation with pre-approved or prospective Vendors/Suppliers to achieve the lowest cost possible.
- Supply expediting by following up with vendors and site teams.
- linking site purchasing officers with approved suppliers.
- liaising with the financial department to facilitate vendor/supplier payments to expedite operations.
C- Cost Control:
- Monitoring Costs of ongoing projects and taking appropriate actions to prevent any excessive costs as per the allocated budget.
- escalation of forecasted or abrupt changes of costs to higher management and working appropriate solutions to minimize additional costs.
- Preparation of costs center cost analysis using historical data and cost trends.
- Cost estimation of new projects.
- Conducting site visits to assure required and proper cost prevention measures are conducted.
Main Projects:
1- Private Multi-Use Farm in Al-Amariyah, Riyadh.
(Project Value: 15 Million SAR) (Turn-Key Project) (Total Lot Area: 40, 000 SQM)
2- Al-Malaga Mosque and villas (Jun. 2019 - May 2020) (turn-key)
Value: 3 Million SAR.
3- G+3 Residential building in Al-Amana district (Nov.2019-April 2020) (Structural Skeleton)
Value: 1.2 Million SAR.
4- Multiple Residential Villa's In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to :
-Inspection and enforcing QA/QC measures for all civil, structural and architectural work activities from material receiving inspection, site grading, excavation, select fill compaction, formworks, rebar works, block works, and concrete casting, as per the design drawings, contractual requirements, and applicable building codes.
-Monitoring and management of the project construction activities as per the project schedule, Attending weekly meetings to update works accomplishments, advise the contractor of possible constraints in the project to prioritize and monitor critical path activities, and forecast potential delays and avoid such.
-Coordinates with the related personnel from other engineering disciplines regarding the project to eliminate any potential conflict/delay that might arise during the construction phase.
-Responsible for the inspection of all civil and architectural works, reporting directly to the project manager.
-Acceptance of materials and samples as to the required specifications and standards.
Burj Ramla project
Main duties and responsibilities :
Assisting the senior engineer in the inspection of civil and architectural works, such as :
- Placement, fixation, grouting, and quality of Precast panels as to the required specifications and standards.
- Placement, alignment, and quality of tiles, marbles, and ceramics as to the required specifications and standards.
- 1st, 2nd and final waterproofing coat for wet areas as to the required specifications and standards.
- Accepting of materials arriving on site as to the required specifications and standards.
- Block work, Plastering, concrete casting and false ceiling installation as to the required specifications and standards.
Attending weekly meetings with the contractor to discuss, review, and assess progress as to the project schedule.
Attending weekly internal meetings with the project manager and senior resident engineers to discuss and evaluate the overall progress of the project.
Assisting the senior engineer in daily round checks of the project.
- Graduation project consisted of the structural design of an 8-stories Hospital in accordance with the Jordanian Building code (JBC) and the (ACI) code. (Excellent, 92 %) structural elements designed consisted of (one way-ribbed slab, doubly reinforced beams, short columns subjected to axial forces and bending moments, shear walls and a 20-meter height retaining wall). - some of the advanced modules taken: landfill design, Hydrology, Design of environmental and wastewater treatment systems, special topics in Geotechnical engineering ( soil reinforcement, soil stabilization, ....)
