- Process accounts and incoming payments
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Performing account reconciliations, includes Investigating and resolving any irregularities
- Producing monthly financial and management reports includes customer analysis & and customer file recommendations
- Follow up with collectors with their targeted and expected collection, discussing customer aging, and recommended actions
- Follow up and investigate with the central warehouses on deliveries and returns discrepancies between company and client records
- Follow up with legal department for the bad debts cases plus following up with the document controllers and assure that all legal
documents in the customer file is complete and in place to save company rights in case of transferring to legal
- Fixed Assets: Physical count, Depreciation process, Reconciliation
- Intercompany inventory accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis.
- Inventory control: Physical stock taking & Reconciliation (Rental Inventory)
- Monthly payroll of the subsidiary
Cash & Banks:
troubleshooting, transactions, periodical fiscal counts, Monthly revaluations, upload & releases, Cashier orders and Monthly Recons.
Capex. :
Fixed asset register, EP open, closure, annual Audit, revaluations, Capex reports and Monthly reconciliation.
Taxation:
WHT, liaise with tax firm for Payroll Tax and corporate tax requests plus recons
Accounts payable:
Payment authorization, EFT approvals, lease agreements, insurance, professional & legal services contracts tracking and checking, supplier recons, balance confirmations, reviewing payable transactions and aging reports
Accounts receivable:
liaise with customer payable and receivables in reconcile both sides balances, write offs, and bank for assuring a decent and onetime collections, tracking credit limits and aging reports
Payroll:
Transactions, reconciliation, revising and authorize Payroll tax, social insurance and overtime calculations and Bonus provisions amendments
General ledger:
Chart of accounts adjustments, GL monthly closing transactions and adjustments, Balance sheet accounts reconciliations on monthly bases
Inventory control:
Fiscal count, deliveries and production when required, monthly reconciliation and Write off/on.
Purchasing:
getting new contacts, looking for better prices when what is provided is too high
General Ledger: year-end closing - Trial Balance management - BS Accounts Recons - Petty Cash - Fixed Assets register - Chart of Accounts Journal entries revising
AR: Invoicing - Pricing (Rate cards - Offers - Contracts ... etc. ...) - Collections - aging
AP: Payments (Checks - Wire Transfers ...) - Transactions (invoices-Payments-Credit notes) - Troubleshooting
Production tracking production expenses (story packages-crew-live studios-satellite bookings).
Costing and pricing for international coverage projects (Cop15-G8-G20-World-cup-Libyan revolution-Egypt uprising) Updating global price lists referring to costing changes.
Reviewing monthly production reports and insures that every single process has been recorded and invoiced
Auditing on the news room producers and satellite coordinators to insure that all bookings, stories and production has been recorded and resemble the daily production report
