Enjoys customer service team and terminal contacts, a great entry level role, pays attention to details, good communication skills, a good organizational and administrative skills, responding to customers or shippers questions or in some cases complaints, Providing routing information and issuing shipping instructions to ensure deliveries arrive on time and to their correct location, also be responsible for tracking of containers to their destination ensuring any problems to avoid delays, responsible for the preparation of quotes for customers, liaise with accounts for the preparation of invoices ensuring shipping costs are calculated accurately and passed onto customer.
Keep track of containers and update container tracking systems with all movement data such as APL containers daily gate moves, Export shipments daily, Transit movement’s daily, Checking the truckers guarantee in EL Sokhna daily, Feeders& Vessels arrivals, departures, load, discharge and closing the system once departure, Sokhna Vessels load list, Electronic Data Interchange EDI updates before the vessel, feeder arrival, Based on this data, various stock reports are generated and distributed to the relevant parties, including reminders to customers for outstanding containers. In addition to this, manage the allocation of empty containers and arrange inbound and outbound movements, receive containers tracking data from the terminal and depots and upload it to the tracking system after reconciling the data, prepare daily stock status reports, manage local containers maintenance and repair, write reminders to customers with outstanding containers, arrange inbound movements and inter port transportation.
Issue demurrage detention invoices and releasing orders on AMIRAL system, sending free time instructions to demurrage team in ISTCO Cairo, Sokhna, Alexandria, Port Said and Damietta through emails, sending releasing orders to SOSDI, 6 of October, 10th of Ramadan, El zahraa, and Sakr dry ports.
