Project Description : Royal private affairs Project consist of, Royal Five and Four Star Hotels, three private royal villas, utilities, accommodation and administration buildings, infrastructure and landscape.

Duties:

As a projects control manager, responsible for planning, cost control, contracts, SC, document control, QS and procurement departments, Project coordination with the client, consultant and operator.

- Preparing the organization chart and procedures for the control department.

QS Department

- Client and S/C’s Monthly Payment Certificates.
- Quantified any variation orders.
- Revised BOQ if required.

Cost Control Department
- Project Budget and revisions if required.
- Project Cash Flow.
- Monthly Cost Control Reports.
- Update the F/C cost including the variances and explanations for changes.
- Reviewing and auditing the accounts books.

Planning Department
- Baseline schedule.
- Progress measurement system.
- Developing and implementing the work schedule and monitoring the progress work execution by the daily, weekly, monthly reports.
- Coordinate with the project team to follow and perform the project schedule and project.

Procurement (Material and SC) Departments
- Procurement plan.
- Material procurement and S/C technical and financial analysis.
- Material approvals.
- Follow up the stores, minimum stock, and site consumables requirements.

Contracts Departments
- Follow up with contract, SC departments the correspondence to and from the client and any contractual issues.
- Extension of time and variations if required.
- Project risk reports.

As a control manager I am responsible for Planning, cost control, contracts, SC, document control, QS and procurement departments.

-Reviewing and assist to prepare Monthly Cost Control Report for projects on focus.
-Study cost reports and monitoring data to; 1. Establish/check its integrity and accuracy, 2. Actual performance versus budget, and 3. Timeliness, making recommendations to projects management to manage any variations and implement remedial action.
-Reviewing Weekly Productivity Report for all Africa projects.
-Reviewing and assist to prepare the updated F/C cost including the changes and their explanations.
-Reviewing and assist to prepare the projects cash flow.
-Visit the projects and support with all cost issues required.
-Provide training and guidance to subordinates and colleagues in the use of project monitoring
-Provide the required training to the new cost engineer in the projects.
-Compile and collate data concerning unit cost and productivity norms, which can become reference material for both future estimating and cost control purposes.
-Reviewing and auditing the accounts books during the visit to the projects.
-Coordinate the project team and control team to follow and perform the project budget.

- Reviewing and assist to prepare Monthly Cost Control Report for all Africa projects.
- Study cost reports and monitoring data to; 1. Establish/check its integrity and accuracy, 2. Actual performance versus budget, and 3. Timeliness, making recommendations to projects management to manage any variations and implement remedial action.
- Reviewing Weekly Productivity Report for all Africa projects.
- Reviewing and assist to prepare the updated F/C cost including the changes and their explanations.
- Reviewing and assist to prepare the projects cash flow.
- Prepare the revised Budget for the projects if needed.
- Visit the projects and support with all cost issues required.
- Prepare the audit reports for all Africa projects and submit it to Main Office after discussion with the project managers and the area manager.
- Reviewing and assist to prepare the Risk reports for the Projects
- Prepare the financial Cost reports for all Africa Projects.
- Provide training and guidance to subordinates and colleagues in the use of project monitoring
- Provide the required training to the new cost engineer in the projects.
- Compile and collate data concerning unit cost and productivity norms, which can become reference material for both future estimating and cost control purposes.
- Reviewing and auditing the accounts books during the visit to the projects.
- Prepare the monthly payment to based project, submit and negotiate with the client.
- Assist in the Material, S/C financial and technical review.
