Launching a new project of bus manufacturing.
Main duties:
1) Paint. Shop troubleshooting for processes and products (By using Ichikawa Diagram, 5 Why methods).
2) Paint shop support in conducting corrective actions
3) Paint. Shop's new machinery specification selection.
4) Tools improvement and updating by searching about alternatives one (Air tools, Infra-red paint dryer, spray gun, ).
5) Paint. Shop facilities troubleshooting (Dolly, lighting, so on).
6) Evolution of presented suggestions by paint shop workers, based on many criteria e.g. quality, cost down, value add, time reduction, work efficiency, and others.
7) Designing and drawing new facilities e.g. racks.
8) Auditing on chemical pre-treatment and the cathodic electro-deposition process at outside sources (ED process).
9) Painting process control by building up& application of SEOS (Suzuki Egypt Operation Standard).
10) Analysis of quality department painting report and delegating results to painting shop section head for paint film defects control.
11) Time study works.
12) KIAZEN activities evaluation and achievement.
13) Follow-up all chemicals& auxiliaries materials for all workshops (Weld. Paint. and Assembly), by searching for alternatives, checking technical performance for new one, and counting the consumption rates, )
14) Inspection of routine supplements of materials.
15) Tools improvement and updating.
16) Participation in new& current worker training.
17) Reports presenting e.g., daily, tech. data comparison, samples approval and so on.
Additional duties:
1) Act as production engineering manager in case he isn't exist, by attending the morning meeting with the company's CEO and senior managers, for:
- presenting the feedback for all outstanding activities related to my department.
- taking relevant countermeasures for all minutes of meeting relating to my department, and distribute them to persons in charge included me.
- reporting to my direct manager, when he get back.
1) Production plan achievement.
2) 5-S achievement.
3) Safety instruments of workers.
4) Quality improvement.
5) Kaizen activity.
Production of Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (CMC) by contacting with different equipments such as various tanks (MCA tanks, ethyl alcohol tanks and sodium hydroxide tanks), reactors, stripper, dryer, crusher, blending & package system and distillation tower. The operation system is by PLC system, and my responsibility was:
1) Dosing different raw materials.
2) Keeping conditions of reaction for different process in the reaction and Sequential.
Production of organic fertilizers, and i was responsible about:
receiving of raw materials with required quality.
put suitable plan for production according to amounts of raw materials.
following product in each stage.
distributing of production plan to workers.
screening of final product and storage for selling.
in case of absence of factory manager, meeting with clients.
