• Sub-contract of HVAC Works associated with ADCO BAB Gas Compression Project, Abu Dhabi.
Prime Responsibility:
• Provide input and recommendations for cost engineering requirements relative to staffing, project controls, and preparing and analyzing comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between the project forecasts and the budgets.
• Organize, monitor and control project costs and will define project needs for cost control in accordance with contractual requirements, objectives and Company procedures.
• Analyze a variety of complex financial data in order to perform following accounting processes: budget development, reconciliation and variance reporting for assigned areas, reconcile assigned accounts, prepare internal and external reports and prepare asset valuations. Identify and resolve data issues. Analyze financial data to identify adverse trends and recommend solutions to mitigate financial impact.
• Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• To monitor the performance of awarded contracts, checking and agreeing on the accuracy of monthly payment applications during the life of the contract and at completion of work. To assist in the review and settlement of any claims raised by the contractor.
• Assist with management of external audits including but not limited to financial, insurance, and tax; coordinate and interact with auditors.
• Advice management regarding forecasted costs overruns of approved budgets and recommends corrective actions.
• Monitor Labor and Non-Labor Costs during project execution. Finalizing rates for extra works and variation orders.
• Provide Cost data into project controls system and issue weekly reports on project cost status vs. budget.
• Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review.
• Prepare inputs for project Invoices, Finalizing claims with management.
• Assist Project Engineers in contractual cost compliance during negotiations of scope changes.
• Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
• Develop and report KPI' s to Project Managers and the Project Director.
• Support interim and year-end audit and provide assistance to external auditor, if required.
