-Etihad Rail /Pre-tender/Post-tender/Design Services: the network will be the first national freight and passenger railway network connecting the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The 1, 200km railway project is estimated to cost AED40bn ($11bn).The Etihad Rail network stretches westwards to the borders of Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The western section links Saudi Arabia via Ghweifat and the eastern section links Oman via Al Ain. The railway line runs across the Emirate connecting Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai.
It then extends to the northern emirates and Fujairah. The UAE railway will connect with the sources of raw materials, industrial areas, ports and major population centres. Concept, Preliminary and detailed road design of industrial Zone Areas totaling 222 km2 in the port city of Duqm in Oman for client Special Economic Zoning Authority at Duqm (SEZAD). SEZAD’s goal is to establish an industrial tax free zone to support the petrochemical industry and others. The project includes required roadways, bridges, drainage, utilities, sewage, telecommunication, power and interfacing with planned port, railway
system, airport, refinery, STP, desalination/power plant and other facilities.
Educational City People Movers System-Doha-Qatar: (Academic loop (Zone 2, 8 and 9), Zone 3E, Junction 10S, 8-Mile stone):
Education City is an initiative of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. Located on the outskirts of Doha, the capital of Qatar, Education City covers 14 square kilometers and houses educational facilities
The People Mover System is located in Doha’s Education City. Being built for Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, and is intended to reduce the flow of traffic within Education City, by allowing students to park their cars.
In purpose-built multi-story car parks and travel free of charge on a battery-powered tram system to their destination within Education City.
Providing Detailed and Issued for construction (IFC) designs for the project, which includes taking part in multiple tasks:
• Roads general plans and the road layouts
• Road setting out.
• Preparation of production drawings.
• Signing and marking.
• Grading Surfaces for Junctions and the Main roads
WAHAT ALZAWYAH PROJECT, Abu Dhabi, UAE:
Wahat Al Zaweya is a stand-alone Master Plan with all of its three development Phases addressed simultaneously in the Design of Infrastructure Services. Integration with the surrounding cultural and environmental context is a priority at all levels of the design process. A primarily Emirati weekend vacation homes development, it is intended to mature to a complete development in the longer term with all the infrastructure and amenity services catering to a full time residential community.
Mohammad was involved in alignment design, profiles design check for surface drainage design, preparing the road layouts, prepare the signage and marking drawings, check of the road typical cross-sections, prepare and design for intersections and junctions grading for the entire project.
1) Petra gate & Eqlaa Tiwal road. -JORDAN
The Project involves doing an extensive field work, well-researched feasibility study and an elaborate detailed engineering design to upgrade the pavement and improve the geometric design of the Petra gate Road to the ESCWA standards for mountainous roads. Total length of the road is approximated to be 100 km.
-Job Description:
A.DESIGN OF Multi-span bridge with 40-meter reinforced concrete Box-Girder intermediate span, in addition to 3 underpasses with total length (70, 30, 30) meters. The design is connected according to the AASHTO-BDS 2007.
B. Design of all retaining walls, Drainage box culverts, and site structural works
2) Shihir Fisherman Terminal Project.-REPUPLIC OF YEMEN
Project main objective is to provide the technical services for the provision of design review, tender services and the permanent supervision of construction of AI-Shihir Fishing Harbor Project (Second Stage).
-Job Description:
A. Design of several buildings (Administration Building, Restaurant Building & Utility Stations Complex).
B. Design of infrastructure networks to include water supply and pertinent works (i.e. tanks, and pumping stations), wastewater, storm water drainage, irrigation (4 km) and all pertinent works (pumping stations, tanks and reservoirs, various irrigations systems).
C. Design of Elevated water Tank 500m3
3) Program Management Consultant (PMC) and Construction Supervision For Water and Wastewater Network Projects.
PMC contract provide control for Zarqa water and wastewater network projects in Jordan. This $160 million program is being funded through the Millennium Challenge Cooperation (MCC) and includes six independent contacts; 3 for water network and 3 for wastewater networks.
Water network project aims to reduce high rates of water loss through construction and repairs to reservoirs, pump stations and tertiary pipes along and replacement of household connections and meters in poorest most heavily populated water service areas of Zarqa Governorate.
-Job Description:
1) Design of new 400m3/h pumping station and 1000 m3 reservoir at Basateen area at Zarqa.
2) Conduct structural design of the infrastructure and the water/wastewater structures of the overall project.
- Conducts quality control monitoring by inspection, sampling and testing on delivered materials.
- Conducts inventory of laboratory equipment.
- Preparing daily laboratory activities.
- Ensures cleanliness, operates, and maintains laboratory equipment in good operating condition.
- Conducts trial mix for Research and Development.
- Calculation and checking of test results.
-Follow-up Highway and roads, Bridges, Pipe lines and Waste water projects.
- Monitors concrete pouring activities by sampling and testing.
-Performs the following field and laboratory tests for construction materials such as :
• Soil / Soils Aggregates.
• Concrete Aggregates.
