Respond to Requests for information raised by the contractor in relation to the information issued
for construction and ensure that information from the Design engineer is incorporated
• Review contractors Electrical shop drawings, method statements and material submittals against the
contract drawings for compliance
• Undertake general project site observation/inspection of electrical works for contractor’s adherence
to the design intent in drawings and specification, good working practices, the construction schedule
and health & safety
• Supervise the execution of works at site through site-visits, follow up the progress of works, safety
and ensure the conformity of works with the drawings, contract documents. Issue instructions to the
contractor to abide by the terms and conditions of the contract agreement and / or require him to
comply with the specifications and standards, as and when required.
• Provide the contractor with any necessary clarifications pertaining to the contract
documents/drawings in order to ensure the satisfactorily completion of the project.
• Approve the detailed workshop drawings and samples of materials proposed by the contractor,
subcontractors or suppliers and ensure their soundness and conformity with the standards and
specifications. Coordinate with the Owner and contractor in the finalization of any provisional
items/works.
• Certify interim payment certificates for the contractor. Review the contractor’s claims and submit
recommendations to the Owner for approval.
• Conduct and chair site meetings as and when required; Report to the Owner on the progress of the
project at regular intervals.
• Issue variations orders to the contractor with the consent of the Owner, for any additional works as
may be deemed necessary.
• Carryout the final inspection of works, issue final acceptance certificates to contractor(s) and
prepare the final settlement account and due payments.
• Coordinate with the contractor(s) in order to furnish the Owner with one set of as-built
drawings/guarantees/warrantees for the project

Project: -New Main Palace at Abu al Abyad Island, Abu Dhabi

Design cum Resident Engineer
a. Attend to Design Issue of all Electrical services and make necessary changes to suit site
changes/constraints.
b. Attend all Design related meetings.
c. Make sure that any Non-conformity has been reported through a Non-Conformance Report.
d. Review and approval of material submittals/Method statements
e. Review of shop drawings as per standards and local authority regulations.
f. Responsible for review and recommending for value engineering related matters.
g. Review and approval variation orders.
h. Review of As-built Drawings and ensure all site conditions are properly addressed

Duties executed: -
a. Project Handling of Multi storied Residential 3-towers each of 36 floors Tower in Dubai
b. Project Execution, site supervision, Raising Inspections, Submission of shop drawings to DEWA
& getting approval, Preparation of BOQ, Material procurement etc
c. Raising variations, coordinating with Consultants and Main contractors
d. Testing and commissioning of lv panels and sub panels
e. Site execution pertaining to low current systems. (Fire alarm system, CCTV, Access control
system, audio/video Intercom system)

Nature of Work:
• Building Electrification of VIP-villas, Flats, Residential and Commercial buildings
• Installation of respective services, Material procurement, Co- coordinating with client.
• Follow up of shop drawings for approval from services& Electricity Department,
Getting inspections approval from Electricity department
• Project Execution and handling of major work force for handing over project in time

Nature of Work.
1) Designing of low voltage electrical drawings, making load schedules, schematics, lighting
and power layout, substation civil layout with details of transformers and h.v. panel
installation for Residential & Commercial buildings complexes, hospitals, malls and towers
2) Project execution and dealing with Main contractor with overall coordination regarding
project.
3) Preparing daily Project reports status and scheduling project activities to complete
Project in time or ahead of time.
4) Coordinating with ADDC regarding drawing approval, making inspection, clearing snag
list, and getting permanent power connection to client until handing over of the project.
5) Coordinating with the panel supplier & clearing technical points to deliver panels and
distribution boards in time
6) Execution and success fully completed many P.W.D PROJECTS &PALACES
7) Project handling, execution and complete handover of project to client, such as residential
& commercial buildings, multimillion complexes, industrial Projects, Royal Palaces, and
High-rise buildings
