-Provide guidance and input to the achievement and development of plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets.
-Provide Technical Support and troubleshooting expertise to Daily Operational Team for plant problems that occur.
-Provide technical and leadership support in AIMS Investigations; root cause failure analysis, specifically process safety, but including of production, EHS, and Quality Incidents.
-Participate in production planning and scheduling.
-Maintain staffing flexibility by cross training with other technical engineers and chemists as needed.
-Interface with suppliers, customers, and vendors as assigned and needed.
-Support, lead, and role model EHS activities and EHS processes.
-Lead PHAs and maintain ownership for Process Safety Information (PSI) inclusive of Safety Concept.
-Review and improve the process capability to achieve designated targets; identify opportunities.
-Support the quality process with required technical subject matter as needed.
-Work with Operations & Maintenance Coordinator to set priorities for equipment repairs.
-Ensure equipment preps/practices for are standardized and consistent amongst all shifts to assure timely delivery of equipment to maintenance.
-Function as liaison with service groups and outside contractors to ensure that the work related to the production facilities is accomplished correctly, promptly, and in the most cost effective manner.
-Evaluate and manage technology and implementation of process improvements deemed viable for commercial application.
-Provide technical evaluation for waste minimization and utility minimization efforts.
-Responsible for automation & DCS improvements and alarm management process/procedures.
-Process lead on assigned projects; scope development, scope ownership, design basis and leadership of Specification review, Step Reviews, and Start Up plans
- Monitors and coordinates the designated operation from DCS with panel operator, ensuring safe and efficient startup, shutdown&normal operation.
- Preparing daily production report for gas &condensate.
- Prepare daily performance summaries to monitor plant performance. Includes studying laboratory test reports and compiling information for supervisor’s review. Highlights abnormalities and discuss with supervisor on corrective actions for discussions.
-Participates in HAZOP and HAZAN studies pertaining to proposed modifications, including identifying potential operational and safety related problems and coordinating appropriate solutions.
-Develops computer programs for process plants monitoring and yield prediction. Applies computer simulation models and other advanced techniques to achieve optimum plant performance.
-Participate in solving remote area problems these areas are (gas production wells #Qasr Wells#, Nodal compressors &compression station on export line.
-Provides comments on the drawings and P& I (piping and instrumentation) diagrams for TR3&4. Checks the process documentation issued by licensors for consistency. Follows up on detailed engineering of new projects, checks design calculations, engineering drawings and specifications and makes comments as appropriate.
-Operate gas plants on systems like (SCADA); Honey well (TPS& Experion).
