•Attending to on-site inspection requests.
•Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and international standards.
•Review material submittals as per approved vendor list and specifications.
•Report any works carried out by contractors found not to be in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and issues non-conformance report if required.
•Monitor quality of works at site ensuring compliance with QA/QC specifications and safety assessments.
•Maintain records for daily activities on site including preparing reports with progress photos.
•Check & ensure effective co-ordination between all disciplines.
•Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any issues that may arise on site.
•Reply to RFI’s for the contractor’s queries on site and for design drawings.
•Liaise with DEWA, Etisalat/du, DPS to attain approvals.
Duty in Design-
•Design of complete LV and ELV services as per client requirement and authority regulations.
•Prepare load schedules, single line diagrams and voltage drop calculation.
•Attend discussions with DEWA, Etisalat, DPS (SIRA) & Green Building consultant in order to attain design approval.
Managing, planning and execution of all the electrical related works of the project.
Drawings review as per the government authority and getting approval for the same.
Preparation of design drawings, single line diagrams, load schedule, cables and breaker selection, shop drawings etc.
Organize and supervise the activities and work of subcontractors/contractors in the project related activities to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner & projects closeout before deadline.
Coordinating with the planning engineer to ensure on time execution of electrical works at site.
Regular Coordination with civil and mechanical engineers regarding the execution of site related works.
Taking the drawing and material submittal approval from the consultant. Preparing BOQ and following the delivery of material at the site.
Installation of LV PANEL, MDB, SMDB, ESMDB, ATS, DB`S, DB dressing, cable laying, cable tray routing etc.
Installation and maintenance of Low Current Systems including CCTV, Data and Telephone connections (using PABX Systems), Access Doors etc.
Good understanding of various electrical drawings, lighting layout, power layout, load Schedule, single line diagrams and related engineering calculations.
Knowledge of electrical load calculation and selection of breaker (MCCB, MCB) and cable size according to the Total connected load and Total Diversified Load as per Standards.
Carrying out all the testing and commissioning at the site for the electrical installation like RCD test, live test, Impedance test, Earth resistance test etc.
Have good knowledge of ADDC, DEWA and FEWA regulations.
Supervising the inspection, re-winding & Overhauling and testing ()of all types of AC & DC Electrical Motors (2500KW) & Alternators up to (2500 KVA).
DC Induction Motors and its auxiliaries like its Local control panel, Machine monitoring system like vibration, reverse rotation, speed monitoring, space heater, RTD, cooling system, Bearing Temperature etc.
Conducting onsite inspection, testing, commissioning, analysing breakdowns for Motors & Alternator’s
Arranging the material required to carry out the all the maintenance work.
Follow up and coordination with the Customer and teams to execute effectively, in order to fulfil the customer requirement.
Preparing & monitoring, Daily plan / Weekly plan / Monthly plan as per the customer PO delivery date.
Cost effective execution on overhauling parts by validating with no. of suppliers.
Timely monitoring the production graph & adopting the necessary steps to get rid of lagging area and improving the production graph.
•Supervise and execution of all electrical works in a project.
•Prepare BOQ and raise material requisition.
•Raising queries and design clarification in order to solve issues at site.
•Responsible for all site works related to electrical.
•Coordination with civil and mechanical engineers regarding the execution of site related works.
