• Heading Project Implementation team of 80+ Mechanical & Electrical Engineers for working for global projects and delivering turnkey warehouse automation projects.
• Handling turnkey projects installations for Asia, GCC, MENA & Europe based Customers
• Hire and develop domestic and international contractors providing project execution support on man, machinery, and tools at sites
• Responsible to costing and estimation of Installation budget for CAPEX projects to Sales Solution team to prepare final proposal
• Quarterly identify and set recommended training for team
• Visiting sites to monitor work progress of project, coordination with customers for technical query and recommend them solution
• Implemented RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and Lessons Learnt Report of completed projects for product and projects improvement
• Attending weekly project review meeting with all other cross functional head of departments and CEO for project progress review
• Setting of KPI / KRA for team, conduct their quarterly performance review and annual increment and bonus evaluation
• Review and verify contractors bill for payment, verify their extra / rework related contribution for final settlement
• Implemented timely project completion incentive for team to encourage them to complete project, review project success and award team
• Verify various claims, local procurement bills, travelling & lodging bills and others bills of team travel to Customer
• A Project Manager responsible for managing all kind of capital and operational projects (CAPEX & OPEX), plant modernization, shut down & retrofitting, brownfield expansion, and green field investments, from inception to successful implementation and handover to operation team.
• Develop, manage, and provide oversight for Five-year Capital Plans; deliverables; and project scope, schedules and timelines, utilizing SAP project system and project management portfolio.
• Perform feasibilities study of preliminary engineering and equipment specifications for bid and procurement.
• Prepare Project Management Approach (PMA) & Management of Change (MOC) documentation for all projects and obtain relevant approvals from all stakeholders.
• Prepare engineering scope of works for plant projects.
• Perform technical evaluation as needed to ensure the success of new installations & modifications.
• Interface with contractors utilized in project work, including the coordination of quotes, selection and field direction.
• Analyze cement manufacturing process and develop methods or processes to prepare cost estimates and justifications for the capital plan and control capital spending to manage costs within budget.
• Manage the plant budgeting process and be accountable for continuous improvement of defined KPI’s including development and administration of the department process technical plan.
• Conduct technical, economic and operational feasibility analysis on proposed modifications, additions, and changes to plant processes.
• Maintain, organize, prepare, review, and revise drawings as required.
• Monitor the progress on site, including the reception and installation of equipment.
• Lead the regular meeting with contractors, review their bills and process for payment release.
• Witness Performance Guarantee (P.G) Test in the presence of OEM and Contractor and release work completion certificate to OEM and return their bank guarantees.
• Obtain certifications of new and modified structures; collaborate in structural and mechanical evaluation and implement solutions to resolve on-going mechanical maintenance, operation, and technical problems within the plant.
• Evaluate professional environmental and safety recommendations and develop engineering solutions to correct deficiencies; and ensure that quality and ISO standards are met in administering company Safety, Health, and Environmental Policies.
• Worked as “Project Manager” with planning team & virtual team members in preparation of milestone plans & detailed project plans for Packaging & Loading Equipment’(s) and Machines.
• Review signed contract and understand complete scope of services to offer, review project costing sheet and project timelines and other milestones.
• Prepare project charter and Production plan covering key features & risks involved in the project.
• Coordinate with Engineering team to release engineering deliverable such as; layout, flow sheet, equipment GA drawings, building & equipment civil foundation, fabrication drawings, P&ID, motor list, cable schedule, panel wiring drawings etc. for clients submission and approval.
• Release purchase requisitions (PR) to procurement for various bought outs equipment’(s) from outsourced suppliers and release loadings to workshop for in-house manufacturing machines.
• Follow up with ordered suppliers for their equipment drawings and provide timely approval.
• Coordinate with SCM for ordering, expedite with suppliers for bought outs and factory for in house produced equipment as per erection sequence for achieving DIFOT (Delivery In-Full, On-Time).
• Raise invoice timely; follow up with client for receivables in managing networking capitals (NWC).
• Prepare forecasting billing for upcoming three months, quarterly forecast figure to plan production.
• Perform negotiations with clients, partners and/or EPC contractors.
• Update the base plans on regular basis. Monitor, control and report on project progress to the stakeholders by using base plan as an effective tool.
• Prepare monthly progress reports for projects for our Management & Client submission.
• Check and track the completion of ordering and supply as per the contract.
• Periodically visit project site to meet client and project consultant to review project progress.
• Coordinate with field engineers appointed for installations, resolve queries, deliver damaged components on timely with fastest shipping, witness performance guarantee (PG Test) with client.
• Review suppliers & contractor invoices & bank guarantees and process for payment.
• Worked as “Assistant Project Manager” with planning team & virtual team members in preparation of milestone plans & detailed project plans for Cement Plant Projects.
• Review signed contract as received from Sales department to understand complete scope of services to offer, review project costing document and understand project deliverable timelines.
• Prepare project schedule and production plan covering key features & risks involved in the project.
• Coordinate with Engineering team to release layout & flow sheet to customer for approval, once these basic engineering documents got approved from client then again follow up with Engineering team to release civil construction & fabrication drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, P&ID for final submission to customer and obtain customer approval to start procurement and manufacturing.
• Release purchase requisitions (PR) to procurement for various bought outs equipment’(s) from outsourced suppliers and release loadings to workshop for in-house manufacturing machines.
• Follow up with ordered suppliers for their equipment drawings and provide timely approval.

• Coordinate with various suppliers for drawings, QAP & internal inspection report.
• Expedite with suppliers for timely delivery of material & supply to client.
• Expedite with QA team to perform inspection once job is ready at vendor workshop.
• Arrange and coordinate logistic to transfer goods from vendor workshop to client site.
Review vendors supply invoices and process for payment to Finance.
