Project: Sheikh Zayad Bin Sultant Al Nahyan Mosque (The Grand Mosque)

Scope of Work:
The mosque is state-of-the-art monument building project. It has 82 numbers of domes with the largest one of diameter 33m having crescent top level +84m from FFL. The four reinforced concrete minarets clad with dry fixed marble and caped with gold mosaic glass reinforce plastic composite finial at the top extends to height 106m. The mosque has the best level expensive finishes, MEP works and piling works for the underground car park, services tunnels, retaining walls, and infrastructural works. The finishes includes some 164, 000 sq. meters of marble cladding, 30000 sq. meters of decorative gypsum works, 17000 sq. meters pre-cast composite marble mosaic flooring, world largest carpet weighing about 40 tons, world largest gold-plated bronze chandelier weighing about 10 ton, painting and protective coatings, roofing works, architectural lighting, reflective pools, pietra-dura works, decorative glazed doors, gold anodised aluminium works and much more.

Scope of Work:
Mina Mussafah Port consists of Quay wall, revetment area, storage sheds, fuel tanks and control tower etc. to deal the general cargo generated in and imported to the Mussafah Industrial area.

Responsibilities as Resident Engineer:
• Contract administraction as per FIDIC.
• Performed tender evaluation for each tender package / provisional sum items.
• Provided timely solutions for technical coordination and other construction / commercial issues.
