Role and Responsibilities:
● Designed Departmental Organogram.
● Designed job descriptions for dieticians and patient meal service staff.
● Hiring and recruitment for the patient meal service department.
● Designed policy and SOP for the patient meal service department as per JCI.
● Designed monitoring forms against patient meal services to ensure smooth functions.
● Conduct sessions on hand hygiene, personal hygiene, patient meal service etiquettes, diet orders, patient identification and communication skills as per JCI standards.
● Sensory evaluation of patient meals to assure taste, temperature, presentation, and aroma.

I worked as a Clinical Dietician at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi which yielded me to work in the following areas:
•Nutritional assessment, intervention for the walk-in patients with medical concerns.
•Constructing suitable diet plans for patients so they can progress with their recovery.
•Providing them with consultancy and guidance to adopt a good and healthy lifestyle.
•Specific dealing with patients admitted with different comorbidities including Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Malnutrition, Acute/Chronic Kidney Disease, RTA cases, Surgeries, Oncology nutrition, Palliative care, Pediatric nutritional management in different diagnosis and COVID-19 patients.
•Also worked for the patient meal services as a daily task.
• Monitoring of enteral feed preparation as per manufacturer's guidelines of different oral/enteral nutrition supplements.
•Received “Letter of Recommendation” as a Dietitian from Ms. Moti Khan, Assistant Manager (Nutrition and Food Services Department-NFSD, AKUH) and Dr. Ainan Arshad, Assistant Professor (Internal Medicine Department, AKUH).

•Conducted a webinar on Nutrition during COVID-19 an awareness session for Health care professionals- AKUH.
•Delivering of lectures based on nutrition sciences and presentations regarding new case/diagnosis) to the interns, Students, and co-workers.

I worked for 06 months at Hayatabad Medical Complex in Children Ward (Pediatrics) and have gained experience as a Nutritionist under the supervision of Ms. Saniya Meraj (Chief Nutritionist).
In the Internship period, I had the opportunity to deal with issues related to nutrition assessment, nutrition rehabilitation, diet plan of victim children and their mothers to treat them in a better way through diet and nutrition.
