As QA/QC & Technical Engineer:
• Concrete Mix design preparation according to client requirements or client specification/ international standards.
• Project Technical Specification evaluation and Mix Design Optimization.
• Performing Plant and Lab Trial mix to promote concept of optimization in concrete mix design
• Materials consumption reports and analytical / graphic analysis of all data. (By Pivot Table)
• Handling all Commercial aspects of raw materials and Dry Cost. (D&D and R&D)
• New Product’s Design and developments with recommendation and compliance status.
• Planning forecast concrete production and needs of raw materials with costing and anticipated outcome.
• Handling client or product related issues (Non Conformance (NCR)) and providing satisfactory technical assessment according to international or national standards.
• Product failure investigation report writing with root cause and corrective measurements.
• Follow up all equipment calibration status either in house or 3rd party facilitator.
• Developing operations & Quality related method statement and procedures.
• Ensure effective implementation of required procedures of testing and EHS in House and site laboratory.
• Conducting regular internal audit to identify the area of improvement related to Quality and EHS and report to management.
• Generating different forms and documents as per company IMS requirements and ensure effective
• implementation.
• Conducting Technical Training to lab technicians and evaluate the competency level of Technicians.
• Equipment Calibration and reports Evaluation along with Safety inspection of equipment.
As Production Support Engineer:
• Scheduling for next day production by using available equipment.
• Identifying quality raw materials with cost effective without compromising quality.
• Developing, modifying, testing and evaluating materials.
• Providing technical recommendation regarding quality of materials.
• Ensure availability of enough materials at plant as per daily production.
• People management as per requirements especially during big pouring.
• Maintaining all contact details of suppliers and establishing good relation with them.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluation and preparation of Ready-Mix Concrete Mix Design according to Project
Specification.
Performing lab trial to understand that how to optimize mix design during the production of
RMC.
Reviewing for new products and propose technical recommendation for the selection of
specific type of materials based on project suitability.
Visit manufacture or supplier entities and monitoring the plant and equipment performance
and accuracy with competency level of technical staffs prior to approval.
Preparing operations & QHSE related method statement and procedures.
Preparation of Technical Submittals for client and authorities for review and approvals.
Conducting site and Plant QHSE inspection and Audit.
Maintaining material reconcile on daily bases, Weekly and Monthly.
Serving as the focal point for the scheduling and controlling of RMC raw materials and
equipment at the job site.
Coordinate and scheduling for construction raw materials testing in house and 3rd party
approved laboratory.
Test result data analysis through excel graph and ensure that the materials are complying
with the project specification.
Maintaining all technical test records for readily available references.
Preparing daily weekly and monthly work progress reports.
Ensuring that all the approved materials are incorporated in project operations.
Identifying potential conflict, issues and problems on construction materials and report to
Top Management with proposed corrective measures.
Collecting, reviewing and filing all the applicable equipment calibration and materials
compliance certificates, MSDS and inspection tags and other QHSE information in line with
project operations.
Minting approved source of raw material suppliers and equipment calibration log sheet.
Guide and monitoring technical staff members during the material development process and
ensure work is done correctly and safely.
Ensure effective implementation of approved QHSE and Testing procedures throughout the
projects.
Submit progress reports to the management in a very professional manner by using State of Art
Techniques Available in Power Point & Excel Application.
IN READY MIX CONCRETE:
Handling all technical aspects of concrete mix design as per client and authority requirements.
Involvement in commercial issues (Dry Cost of Material)
Coordinate with customer and client to understand the latent need of requirements.
Consumption of Raw Material used in Concrete
Ensuring strict compliance against DM/DCL and TRAKHEES Quality Control (QC) requirements.
Technical understanding of concrete mix in compliance to new Dubai Municipality (DM) requirements GREEN Concrete.
Performing Plant and Lab Trial mix to promote concept of optimization in concrete mix design.
Statistical Analysis of Product Test Reports (In House as per QC Plan)
Practical understanding of full compliance against Dubai Municipality (DM) / Dubai Central Lab (DCL) / NRMCA Plant Certification requirements.
Plan future production and consumption of raw material to understand cash flow requirements.
Fully supervise concrete Batching pant operations and understanding Plant technical requirements.
Justifying Batching Plant Print out Reports.
Conducting Internal Audit as per IMS requirements.
Follow up all equipment calibration status either in house or 3rd party facilitator.
Generating different forms and documents as per company IMS requirements and ensure effective implementation.
Conducting Technical Training to lab technicians and evaluate the competency level of Technicians.
Technical Reports Writing
Summary of Work Responsibilities in Independent Testing Laboratory:
Participating in Dubai Municipality (DM) proficiency testing program (PTP)
Planning and carefully monitoring of equipment calibration status.
Analysis the needs of equipments according to test requirement
Hiring sub contractor if require for special test requirements
Establishing method statement and standard operating procedures as require
Analyzing the needs of training to the employees and evaluate the effectiveness of training
Analyzing and evaluating the performance of testing of employees through IQC (Internal Quality Check)
Organizing technical submittal as per requirements
Follow up vendors registration as require
Updating list of international standards and ensure the compliance of the same
Updating list of equipment and doing internal calibration as required according to standard procedure.
Generating different forms and documents
Summary of Work Responsibilities:
Technical Coordination with Client (ADM and Other Authorities / Customers and Consultants)
Proposing and assembling Concrete mix design and performing Plant Trial Mix in compliance to Client specification requirements.
Practical understanding of calculation of different types of Concrete mix Design.
Technical Evaluation and verification of Proposed and Supplied Concrete Mix to the project.
Monitoring all aspects of Quality control Compliance against In House and External QC Plan under strict regime.
Involvement in Commercial issues (Material Cost Analysis) and Management Responsibility.
Preparing and monitoring of material consumption and analysis unit rate of concrete per cubic meter.
Securing Project Legal approvals from Clients and Authorities.
Internal Coordination with Production, Shipping and Plant and assist them technically as required.
Follow up technical documents compliance like Equipment calibration from other agency as per in house QC Plan.
Reviewing NCRs raised by clients or Authorities and propose corrective and preventive action.
Generating Statistical Analysis Reports of supplied Concrete products to understand the constant quality supply to the project.
Monitoring of concrete cube test reports and investigates and justify technically the root cause in case of product failure.
Ensure full compliance of QHSE Management system Requirements by making Work instruction, Procedures and OCPs within the entity.
Technical Reports writing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Organize Material Test Plan (MTP / ITP) and ensure their compliance as per project Specification.
• Evident all materials testing program for Soil, Aggregate, Concrete, Cement, Water and Steel testing and ensure their QA/QC compliance as per project specification.
• Evident all GeoTechnical operations and ensuring intact transfer of drilled sample to the lab with traceability.
• Perform QHSE random audit to contractor and 3rd party testing laboratories and Ensure all the desired works at site and in lab are being carried out as per project specification requirements.
• Issue Nonconformance NCR (Major or Minor) in case of noncompliance of the requirements.
• Ensure implementation of proposed corrective action with adequate evidence.
• Daily Inspection at site as per RFI and approve the request subject to specification compliance.
• Attending QHSE related meeting with client on weekly and monthly bases and share the progress reports.
• Reviewing and approving method statement of works with respect to QA/QC and EHS before execution at site.
• Maintain all approved QHSE documents and ensure full implementation of QHSE system at construction site.
• Ensure only competent and trained personnel involvement at site operation.
• Maintain and review all applicable documents in line with project specification requirements.
• Witness all tests like FDT, Protector, sample collection etc for testing at 3rd party lab.
• Maintaining log book with respect to all project related activities.
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly project QA/QC reports and submit to the management.
• Submit site progress reports to the management in a very professional manner by using State of Art Techniques Available in Powerpoint & Excel Application.
Checking, Supervise and witnesses of all Preliminary Testing of raw materials for Concrete, Soil and operation related to Geo Technical Work and identify their conformance with the project specification and preparing daily, Weekly and monthly reports and submit to the concerned management.
