•Repair and Return of items under warranty, recently I established a new Repair and Return Process and implemented it. Developed Tracking sheets, giving complete visibility of all items dispatched, at the repair center, in transit and delivered. These tracking sheets also provided information as to how many days each activity took. Ensuring that the faulty equipment sent back to France under warranty came back in the defined Turn around Time (TAT).
•Managed and updated the Demand Management Tool. (A Supply Chain Management Software) This was mostly forecasting equipment requirement, based on opportunity and firm orders in hand.
•Planned and implemented reporting systems for the Supply Chain Department. This included weekly, monthly reporting to all concerned managers about the repair items status and new shipments arriving for Alcatel or its customers.
•Trouble shooting in case, there was a delay in, purchase, shipping or with customs. Also advised on shipping options and mode for faster movement of cargo.
•Proactively monitored projects and made sure that there was no equipment shortfall, and that new was equipment was ordered, if any shortage was foreseen.
•Coordination with customer for Import permits and regulation.
•Local Transport management under warehouse activity.
•Logistical documents collection and their preparation as per company internal control.
